I'm going to be ordering either later today or tomorrow for a new video I'm putting together - am excited to try this as I've been following the thread for roughly a week or so. But before I do, I have 2 questions I'm hoping someone could answer.
#1 - Since this will be a brand new video, is it smart to order the views right away as soon as it goes live? BigBuddy seems to deliver pretty quickly, and I don't know if it would raise any red flags for that many views (even being time retention) to come in that fast on a *brand new* video. Should I leave it up for a few days first? I was planning on outsourcing some bookmarks and such to it - would it be smart to do that, then get the views? Or is getting them right away cool/a good idea?
#2 - The KWs I'm targeting are a product name. I actually had a site ranking for the same KWs last year, but all of google's f*cktardery banhammered it out to page nowhere. I had started a youtube channel and put up a couple vids for this site. Never really did anything with the vids though - just put them up for backlinks more than anything. Never drove traffic to / nor tried to rank them. But they (as well as the channel) both link back to my original site.
As well, I plan on linking back to my original url with this video, but instead of driving traffic to the site, I planned on just putting a 301 on the url to my affiliate link and driving the video traffic directly to the affiliate offer (obviously via my redirected link).
My question is this - since google obviously doesn't like my old site, and the channel I was gonna post this video to has a "connection" (for lack of a better term) to said old site, would this hinder me ranking the new video somehow? Would google see the association and carry over whatever negative mojo they have for the site to the new video? Should I start a new channel/account and use a different url to link to the offer?
Or would it not matter and everything would be cool?
Thanks.
