If you've not done any seo before you can expect some good improvement, how much depends on a myriad of factors such as competition etc but these links are the second thing I ever do on a site so I think they would be a great idea for you.

Got an informational site (broad niche, authority/webmag type of site) and currently have 5 main content pages atm (looking at updating it once or twice a week). What can you recommend when it comes to keywords? The site is about a broader niche, while the content pages are related subniches within this.
