How many services would you have to get discounts on to make the $100 per month worthwhile, do you think?

Selling an "SEO Company" on Flippa seems like a strange concept.

Wake up and realize the Internet has changed. If you dont realize that then you really dont deserve being on BHW and not on their mailing list. I focus on clients that care about their site. I offer a great deal and management as well. The game has changed and I invite people to search google to learn about the recent updates.

The internet has not changed, it's still the internet, it has just got larger and a little more complex over the years ... I see this as more opportunities

The game has not changed either, it's still the game ... and if you've been playing the game for as long as I have you will realize that the basic rules are exactly the same as they ever were . .the only difference is that a few back doors have been locked off ... not a big deal in the grand design of everything internet .. as more doors open !

Good luck with your membership site ... but it's not for me, thank you

Atleast give some sample pricing of actual discounts. Hard to fork over $100/m for the promise of quality seo with no results to back them up.

Sorry but i would of ran this past other Jr VIP's before making a big song and dance. I too thought from the sales page that it was an actual service. If we have to choose what we need to buy to rank the site we may as well use BHW BST's that have lots of people saying they are good since they have proof. I can see your passionate about your model however people need hard facts.

Your right the market has changed, we don't make so much money now so were all extra cautious.

Well, i'm avoiding the most i can to pass negative energy for people who try hard.

So, instead of flaming which would be an easy shortcut, if i may, i'd just emphasize one point.

Let's say i buy your service for articles at a $2.60 / 100 words + $100

In order to make profit over the discount, i need to buy 30 articles of 500 words which is okay in terms of monthly quantity. Yet, it isn't what i call the best deal ever, as i didn't even make 1 dime over it ;). Plus, if i happen to order that amount of articles monthly, i'll be able to negociate too.

I believe you should wrap your service a bit better and add some immediate value to it.

GL with your sales

I would be interested but i would like to see what discounts im getting and services are being offered for my $50/$100.
some people need to look at the big picture and net saved.

lets say you spen $100 on this "club" and you can purchase articles for $2.5 for a 500 word article instead of a rate of $5 (this price is what i pay and its quality). now lets purchase 250 articles for my authority site, well 5x250=$1250 were as 2.5x250=$625+100 so $725 that is a net savings of $525 and with that savings i can buy almost another 250 articles. dont look at money spent look at potential money saved/earned.

so yes for people who are serious about SEO this "could" be promising. for those of you who have MNS and a $50 budget then this is not for you clearly. the OP should have stated "big boys only"

but i agree you need to show what people are going to get for the $100? a crappy sales page is not enough IMO. if your going to be making 20k a month from subscriptions at least get a decent website and client portal made.

You have some good points. if you fill out my form on seodiscountclub.com I can send you the seo packages. The cost for content from North American writers is $2.50 per 100 words. Our SEO packages I can send you. For the club fee, I can see what I can do with that as long as I know you are a real interested long term customer. I dont want people who are not serious about their SEO. I cancelled over 20,000 recurring profit on linkwheel.net in order to focus on long term clients who demand and want qaulity. I know that sounds strange but since I did my big clients came back and spend way more. I am not dishing people who try these get 100 links for 100 dollars. These are just not the clients that I want. Also, my sales page shows my passion and view and it attracts the demographic that I am shooting for. That being said I am happy to take suggestions. I have been around the block as most of you have. I understand SEO from a long term standpoint and overview. I have sold major portals(sites) to Internet Brands and also Quinstreet. I dont just sell it I do it. In fact the reason I got into this was because I had so many sites and I could not find a reliable SEO supplier. Thus I decided to do it myself. Taking on clients helps me negotiate better prices for myself and my customers. Thus, if you are interested in my services that is great but lets create a long term relationship in the process. This is what I am interested in.

People are complaining about your sales page because it is vague, poorly written and full of promises unsupported by hard evidence. No one is caring about your SEO passion. I care about the results on my money site, and your sales page is downright unconvincing. My suggestion is to identify what you are actually selling and tell us that. And, if you get another response like this one, reconsider your business model. Because right now it is totally untenable.

The cost for content from North American writers is $2.50 per 100 words..

that is pretty steep your asking $12.50 for a 500 word article? i hope thats a typo or im a re-tard and misunderstood you?

if not, there are some very good writers on here for way less than that. and you are telling people when they join they get discounts?

good luck...

As a successful small business owner and designer, I often look for membership companies like yours for great deals and additional value in buying power.

What I recommend is - get a clear list of the products and services that your members will get as a result of being part of your group and post that on your sales page. If they can see a clear value in the discounts that they will receive from being a member, they'll be more apt to sign up for your services.

It's quite simple, really guys ... you pay $100 per month and get access to great pricing on the things that you use anyhow. What we need to see now is this value behind the $100.

If there are people out there who order 100 links for 100 dollars type services, at least they know what they're getting, and just because something's more expensive it doesn't automatically mean that it's better.

I think the problem people have here is that it was sent out in the official BHW email, and they're surprised that BHW would approve something like this, where after reading an email, forum thread and sales page, still don't know what the service is.

I agree, would be interested to know what the back-end services are.

Well, I don't post very often and I not a donor, so I don't feel I can comment on the decision to let this service through, I do however buy services on here.

This has the be the craziest businessmodel/pitch I've seen. So you have high quality service, that's great. You only have a 30% markup, that's great too. The problem is you are asking people to "trust" that your services are quality and offer no real proof. I can easily throw together a salespage about how "the game has changed!", charge a membership fee to the marks and outsource to fiverr as well.

Now don't get me wrong, if you were able to show any benefit of giving you $100 to use the sources you contract with I would be all over it. Say, for example, you contracted with a service provider on here. On their sales thread they charge $200 but through your "service" I could get itfor $150, great. Instead, the only actual pricing you talk about is a discount on writing from $3.50 to $2.50 per 100 words. I am not cheap, and know you get what you pay for, but unless you dug up Hemingway, I fail to see how a $12.50 500 word article is a discount. With your 30% mark-up that writer is making $8.75 for a 500 word article. Hell, I can write a great article in about 20 minutes. I'll charge you $8.50 for 500 words, quit IM and write for you full time- $25.50 an hour is pretty decent. Even better - pay my content club "membership fee" of $100 a month and I'll write thearticles for $8.49, but I wont send you a writing sample first.

Now I hate posts that flame and offer no real help, it's useless and negative. You don't know me from Adam, and I have a low post count, but here is my advice anyways -

There is a gap that could be filled by new "quality" service providers now. Why not just offer your services without the membership fee at a higher mark-up. If they are good, people are going to buy them, plain and simple. I understand the $100 a month would give you a stable flow of recurring income and that's what we are all after. You could offer the customers that are using you services in high volume this discount membership plan.

If you target is people who are spending a decent amount of money on SEO (and judging from the price of your writers, I'm assuming it is) then I think you missed the mark with your sales page. When I read your page I expected to see either A: great prices on your services or B: an easy to use "one stopshop" for my SEO. I would pay $100 (a lot more actually) todeal with one person/site for everything.

I apologize if you take offense to anything I said, that was not my intention.

edit: I had the price per 100 words at 2.60, it looks like it's actually $2.50.

I cant believe that this service has been allowed on here and is being openly endorsed by BHW. Im going to cancel my email subscription too if this is the kind of stuff that BHW is going to be promoting to me.....Poor!

while it might be true that you are selling a quality service, and not just peddling link packages, you still need to put some effort in a decent sales copy. this almost comes across as a little arrogant like " hey my service is a true post penguin seo service, all other bst sellers are link peddling whackjobs, i dont give no ranking proofs or explain my strategies and it's a privilege to sign up with my service" doesn't sit too well with the buyers mate. even with a great service but crappy marketing and sales copy, you are leaving money on the table. just my 2C.
