We use spun content for the regular packages, but they are not crap unreadable stuff, but are more readable with lesser errors. If you're interested in packages with unique content, yes, they are available. You can find them while you fill up the order form.

Answering your other questions, YES, these are real .edu sites and not the edu.xx sites.

These are from several different platforms, some of them built on custom platforms. There are few wikis, but not the mediawiki no-follow ones.
