We're actually contemplating removing the services section altogether. If we continue to allow services to be sold here at all, it will be run through the BST section, which requires Admin/Mod approval and a donation fee, which may be increased. If not, well, there's always DP or freelance websites.

Because, frankly, it's getting rediculous.

Yeah i am all for verification and if it goes to the BST that would be all the better, i have no problem in having mods look at my services and paying a fee, now we have all kinds of DP idiots scamming members.

I had fallen for that to once but even when it was only $20- i took it all the way to a dispute at PP, $20- is nothing but i wont let you steal it from me.

Another option may be to just make the Freelance sections paid/moderated as well, to keep the BST from being cluttered with services.

Anyway, it's in discussion at the moment, hopefully we'll reach a decision soon. We're also working on getting iTrader installed again.

Soooooo, are you guys going to let this thread ride so that we can more feedback from members? Or is this just a dead issue...... at least from the members point of view. In other words, no matter what input we give on this subject the mod's/admin's will what they decide to do. Case closed!?!?!

Yeah, sorry about hijackin your thread man. We may (eventually) look into a stickied list of some sorts, once we come to a decision on the freelance section. I've just received yet another scam complaint, so it looks as though the freelance sections may be locked up soon.

It would be nice to have a list like this for sure. I have been looking for a writer or group of writers for a few weeks. It seems that the good ones are booked up or close and the rest are gone in a few days.

I totally agree with you unclaimed and then I totally hear where Clix is coming from, its to hard to guarantee anything but at the same time not many individuals will be prone to ripping people off if they have to pay a $20.00 posting fee. Regardless I think we should do somthing about this. Even if that means requiring a certain amount of posts to even offer services...

I do however feel it would be beneficial to keep the "Hire a Freelancer" option available. Again its mostly going with your gut instinct, I definately have noticed an increase in new members that join by the masses daily. I think we need to require some sort of Monthly membership. its getting a little out of hand.

Hopefully we figure somthing out!
