Hey aj113,

I've played around with your spinner and created an article 3,500 or so long.I've used expertpeon's advice and created nine variations for each sentence and then used synonyms to replace certain words in each sentence.I took special care that the resulting article makes perfect sense and looks and reads naturally.

The problem starts when I press "spin" tab and select, for example,10 articles. It takes spinnerchief2 ages to show me these articles.I must be doing something wrong, because I'm new to spinning and have no actual experience with the inner workings of these types of software.

What am I missing?

Thank You,

Hogare
Send the article to me and I will check it. admin at spinnerchief dot com

send me a pm when this thing is out of beta, i will buy it. I'm Very Impressed

I am presently using TBS but with the yearly coming up I am looking for alternatives. I primarily use this for spun comments. I understand you are determining a sell price but how long is the beta running for? A ballpark date is fine.

We have no projected date. We don't want to release fully until we are sure that everyone is happy with it.

If you are using the beta version you will receive an email when it is released fully. Plus as a beta user you will have the first chance to buy at the initial special offer rate.

This is a GREAT tool. Have you decided if it's going to be a one time payment or a subscription based payment? (That's the one thing I hate about TBS)

Does the beta software have an expiration date? Will it continue to work after SpinnerChief goes on sale?

I just installed this and I had to download the user-created thesaurus 3 times before the program finally opened. The program crashed during the first download, downloaded the second one fine and then crashed, and then the third time all worked fine.

Thanks for the download and the free beta usage. :)

Before I get to some of the "bugs" or problems, I should state what resources my PC has: Windows 7, AMD Phenom II Quad Core with 8GB RAM. It ain't the best, but it's still pretty damn fast.

Things I LOVE:

1. The Cloud Thesaurus
2. Miracle Thesaurus
3. All the advanced options (speech, grammar, rules, negs)

Things That SUCK:
1. Quick access toolbar (above ribbon) is almost hidden -- make it non-transparent by default. Yes I know we can move it below and above the ribbon -- but it should be placed below the ribbon by default. I didn't even know that was there until I clicked on it by accident as I was trying to move it. I kept trying to figure out how to switch the thesaurus... so I eventually would close it out, relaunch it to change the thesaurus. But now I realize it was at the top -- but it was transparent and I didn't even see the button (or link.)
2. The speed of your software IS PAINFULLY SLOW.

Now, I realize this is beta so I am sure you will look into this, but if you plan on spinning ANY ARTICLE the proper way (paragraphs, words, sentences, etc.) -- your software cannot handle it all. I wrote a 1000 word article, spun it the way it should be and your software could not handle spinning it. It just HUNG there as I waited for the articles to appear. I actually left my computer for 1 hour, came back it said 5% done.

So I tried a simple 350 word article, spun the crap out of it (paragraphs, sentences, words, etc.) -- and AGAIN, it could not spin the article. It would just process as I waited... waited... and WAITED.

So finally I did a very basic 350 word spin job... just words/phrases... and the spinner worked fine.

As it stands right now, I don't believe anybody who actually spends time spinning will see any reason to wait hours to get our spun articles. And yes, your software has amazing features, but what good is it if it cant handle HIGHLY SPUN ARTICLES?

I actually took the 1000+ word spun syntax version I created in your software and pasted it inside of Magical Article Rewriter -- and I kicked out 500 spun versions of it within 30 seconds. So I am not quite sure what the problem is with your software... but you need to fix that or I don't see anyone continuing to use it.

The cloud thesaurus is amazing -- and BRAVO for that, as it's the BEST thesaurus I have yet to use for spinning content (much better than The Best Spinner or Magical Article Rewriter, IMO)... but if you can't retrieve your articles, then it means nothing. I realize this is in BETA still, so those are my test results.

I also noticed that from time to time the cloud thesaurus word selection box would disappear as I selected a word to replace in the syntax. So I would add it again and then it added the word/phrase twice.

Also, sometimes the PIPE SYMBOL (|) would not be included in the syntax, which was rather frustrating because I had to always re-read the syntax to make sure it was in there. For example, {red|blue|green} was sometimes {redblue|green}.

That's pretty much it. I hope this was helpful.

We haven't fully decided, but the offer is still open for beta users to make suggestions for their preferred prices and price structure.

When SC2 is released fully all beta licence will be cancelled. We don't have a projected date, the software will be released when it is good enough.

That was possibly a network problem at the time. We haven't had this reported as an issue by other users so I suspect it was an isolated occurrence.
