Guys, check out Skype dot com, or truphone, Voipstunt, voipcheap, it's pretty simple!!, and you can change your number whenever you want with most of them!!...

Skype is $3.00 a month (yes 3 dollars, for 10,000 minutes), all you have to do is just plug a (voip enabled phone-or get a connector-or your computer may already have a line), and it walks you through the setup!....

VOIP Providers

In order to call out, call termination (trunks) needs to be programmed into the phone boxes. There are tons of providers out there and most are charging .01 cents per minute for OUTGOING calls.

Some providers are set up to allow unlimited phone lines making calls (call center style)

Prices for phone boxes start at $600 (Used box reformatted and programmed to your specs with up to 10 free incoming phone numbers all connecting with 'software' phones)

To new in the box dual core 1 gig or ram 80 gig HD that supports up to 100 simultaneous lines & an adapter to connect physical phones to it (2 lines) for $1,500

I use VOIP for my 8-5 job and although it has it's ups and downs, it def. works. Never thought to use it though for BH... interesting thoughts are running thru my head now. This technique does have potential. I will wait though to see if a Moderator checks it out first before I bite on this one - but I will be watching the posts.

Smelly-Cash Please READ the thread. The virtual are incoming numbers only so you can verify whatever you need + do all kinds of blackhat things with them. Just consider them throwaway numbers.

You want to call out, you need your own box or any of the many web services.

Not saying anyone is trying to take advantage of people here but i am tired of hearing people trying to make a fast buck off people who do not know too much about services or products. This is a community that should be sharing knowledge and if your a voip provider why not help people make a even more cost efficient solution by showing how people can do it themselves since voip is all about open source.
