For what it's worth, there is an update today on the software.

Blake

All,

Sorry about the delay. A couple things happened on my end where my access to UNF and support email was limited (my host had some issues with the server and my hard drive crashed-had to buy a new comp). I was able to get the emails regarding proxies out to my developer and he made a couple changes on UNF's end to help with keyword expansion.

@jgray11,

Thank you for updating the forum.

@wi11iam,

I reset your license.

Thanks @hango. Sorry to hear about your problems.

Just to tell anybody that is thinking of buying the software. I've been using it for about a year now and it's regularly updated, and any problems are quickly resolved by the fantastic support! Highly recommended!

Since yesterday my UNF is not working. Crashing again and again and also proxies not working. How can I get help?

Hi,

I'm having problems with proxies. I haven't used UNF for a while, but I used to just use scrapebox to scrape a load of public proxies from my own sources (less than 24 hours old) and put a few thousand into UNF and it would just run through and analyse 20000 or so without a problem. But now, all proxies I'm scraping are burning out so quick, that I can barely analyse 500 before they run out.

I found a service on BHW by 'proxygo' and he gets pretty good public proxies that are fresh every day. Although with the test of 500, it didn't work out so well. But he assures me that if I use them early in the day and use all 10000, I should be fine.

My other option is to use private proxies. But when going through a list of 25000 keywords, how many would you recommend?

I would get at least 100 proxies. I used to do about 5,000 proxies pretty easily with about 50 private proxies. That proxy provider became very terrible though (wouldn't recommend it).

singhavn,

Can you try reloading your proxy list from scratch? Did you update your version?

Is the "Allow adult keywords" option working? It seems that no matter if I check it or not UNF gives me the set of keywords with NO adult ideas.

I have tried to uninstall/install again but I'm still facing this problem. Please help me out. Thanks!

I actually gave proxygo a try and it seems to be working out just fine! Much cheaper than private proxies.

I also noticed this. If I'm in Adwords and select allow don't adult keywords it only returns the same list as what UNF does. If I then select to show adult keywords, the list is totally different from what UNF is downloading?

How recent is the update for the analyze competition. The change log says 24/12/2012. Is this the last time it was updated because I would have to say that when I check the 'very easy' keywords on UNF, I wouldn't say that most of them are very easy. In fact, some are very hard.

If it hasn't changed since 2012, a lot has changed in that time.

For some very easy keywords according to UNF, some very established websites including webmd, amazon, etc. are on the first page or two. These are not just the top 3 either, but the top 10/20!

I know keyword difficulty is fairly subjective, but I think UNF is way off on the majority of 'very easy' and 'easy' keywords.

catardat,

We are working on the adult keyword. I thought it was working, but it doesn't seem to be. Developer is working on it.

wi11iam,

Thanks for bringing it up. About six months ago, a few people brought up the comparison between LTP and MS. We were more difficult on most of keywords. If you can PM me some of the ones that came up fishy for you, I can check it out and see what the problem is. One thing that I am working on is creating a plan where individuals can set the parameters for competition analysis themselves. I think this might be better for some of the advanced IMers out there.

Again, great support. This is why I've never considered looking for another tool! PM sent!

Hey Hango,

I emailed your support almost 5 days ago about the problem that the fact that I keep getting this error message on UNF: "Your proxies are bloked on Google".

I have checked the proxies with SB proxy checker and all of the proxies passed the Google test.

I used to analyse in upwards of 1,500 keywords per day with no problem at all - although it took sometime it was no problem.

To completely rule out the proxies, I got a new list from the proxy supplier. The problem is still there and it has got even worse since the error message has changed from "Google has bloked your proxies" to "Failure"

When can I expect a fix for this?

EDIT: Software is working. Jgray11/Blake is right. It might have been a error on Google's side.

Same here!
What is the problem?
