Ive been digging and it seems as though this "Arby" guy was selling a program called "Youtube Advertiser" last year which had some of the same features as Youtube Genius, such as Comments, Ratings etc

When Google updated Youtube last year, the comment, ratings etc wasnt working on Youtube Advertiser anymore and the program owner "Arby" went AWOL. not answering P.M's, E-mails etc

Arby's last logon date was 07-19-2011, TheBotProgrammer created his Account on the 09-13-2011, that would give him less than two months to repackage "Youtube Advertiser" as "Youtube Genius"! Could "Arby" have resurfaced under a new name "TheBotProgrammer"?!

The Parallels are striking and TheBotProgrammer could very well be "Arby" I dunno!

But I do know one thing though, if TheBotProgrammer doesnt show up in less than 24 Hours I'll open a PayPal dispute and seek to reclaim my money since Ive got less than 4 days till his 30 Day Refund Policy ends. This program is not functioning as it should do and as such we should all seek to reclaim our dough!

I'll jump onto Youtube Mass Video Uploder instead, bit more pricey, but at least the owner is on the forum 24/7 and actively engages with his buyers!

Due and in compliance to to the joint copyright infringement and providing unsolicited advertisement case received from Google Inc., Time Warner Inc., Sony BGM and Facebook Inc, Cease and Desist order ruled and reviewed by the local government unit on July 15, 2011, we are removing these tools from the public.

Golden reason to stop supporting Youtube Advertiser and leave his buyers high and dry!

I suppose we're all waiting for a similar announcement...!

Damn... wish I had known about this Arby guy and Youtube advertiser before buying this. But then again, no one even made a subtle warning on this thread. Would have been nice to have that heads-up from the older, more knowledgeable members here that already had their suspicions
Oh well, lesson learned. Luckily, I paid $30 for that lesson today, which will prevent me for paying for a much more expensive one tomorrow.

Ive opened up a PayPal dispute since I think TheBotProgrammer is going to try and run away with my $60.

I'll give him 12 hours to respond then I'll escalate it to a PayPal Claim.

I suggest that no one buys this program and anyone who has so far to Open up a PayPal Dispute and seek to reclaim their money! Dont take this laying down...!

This should be sent to mods so that he may never try to come back to resell a new version of his unsupported software.

nope i simply told people if they read the thread their questions have been asked many times before.
has anyone tried to email them? maybe he has tried to screw us over but he did say no more support in this thread and gave an email address.

Thats true but he hasnt replied to anyone at all who have e-mailed him! People are having problems left right and center, if hes e-mailed someone with a fix surely he'll post such information on this thread rather than to people one by one.

IMHO hes shying away, trying to buy more time to empty his PayPal account and then to run for the hills.

Get your money back while you still can!

Guys, if you are having problems with this, please PM a mod and tell them the situation. They are most likely not going to allow somewhere to sell here if he is going to leave you guys like this.

He did the same thing with YTA. Create product -> make 1-5 updates -> stop replying -> get a *fake* C&D from Facebook/Google and delete website&software.

If TPB replies in this thread, I will gladly remove my post and move on, but until then I am going to expose him.

Ive just escalated my Dispute into Claim, I suggest everyone does the same before he runs to the hills!

Just opened a Paypal dispute too. Ill escale it to claim as soon as Im able. Im not having too high hopes of getting my money back, but as long as it helps to give some headaches to this scammer then Im happy.

From my understanding, if you open up a PayPal claim/dispute then the person cannot withdraw any money until such claims/disputes have been settled. If they havent replied to said claim/dispute then PayPal will go in favour of the claimant and deducted the funds from their PayPal account to settle the issue, if no funds are available then they deduct the funds from the Persons Bank Account.

This is from all my understanding, things may have changed since Ive learnt of the above. Maybe someone can shed some light onto this.

Also I opened up a dispute and 12 hours later I escalated it to a Claim, so maybe you can do it aswell. PayPal says to wait 3 days in order to escalate it, but in 3 Days TheBotProgrammer/Arby could be up in the hills rolling in my $60!
