I am an owner of this and I haven't yet figured out if I need to have any anonymous server to use with this. Youtube will see my IP and find out when all these likes, comments, etc are coming from the same place. Do I need a private proxy for this, or can I use the public ones that are posted in this forum? I really want to use this piece to it's potential, but I'm hamstrung. Any thoughts, welcome!

Please use private proxies or HideMyAss VPN. The software does not support public proxies. Anyway, you''ll need private proxies if you're serious about YT marketing. Also make sure that your software is updated.

Seems like you have to do a million clicks to get everything done with it the way the GUI is designed.

That's why we're redesigning v2 to make it as user friendly as possible.

A few questions, after doing a video search is there no way (aside from saving all the ids to a text file) to simply select all of the videos for downloading?

Last but not least, the most important thing for me is finding out if there is a way to download all MP4 files as opposed to FLV files. This is a biggie as my site doesn't encode FLV files properly to show previews. I could probably just buy a converter to do this though, (anyone know of a good one?) Would be nice to see this feature added into the app though.

This sounds like a good idea. Unfortunately YT videos are in FLV format, but maybe we can incorporate it in the future.

All and all as I said before - for 30$ it's not a bad app. Even with just half of the functionality it's worth the price and more. Still has a ways to go as far as updates are concerned though. Just a little rough edges that need cleaning up.

I noticed you answered all of my questions (thanks BTW, sounds great!) except for this one.

Also, after downloading videos is there no way to delete them all from the downloader at once instead of having to check them one at a time? So far I have had to close the app and reopen it each time just to remove all the videos.

Am I missing something or is there no way to do this?

Right now you can change the description to your own or add/replace http links. But we're now implementing a better interface for this in v2.
