I bought this plugin on the 10th of Jan- not working as it should and you said you would find a solution and email me- still waiting...

what needs to be done i notcied "the" and "a" swapped out interchangeably. "the" and "a" are not synonymous, and the frequency of that error was highly noticeable when affecting the readability of the spun articles.

just picked up this plug-in today and here is my review of the results so far...

1 - works as advertised, wordpress 2.7 compatible

2 - length of the article has a lot to do with the uniqueness of the results

3 - not a fan of the encryption in the php file. i understand the need to protect your work, however, i like to dig in and rewrite things to work according to my needs

4 - i would really like to have access to the words/synonyms so i can modify and create a database that suites my needs.

5 - results often read like foreign english, worse than tech support from inda. I get the impression that the words/synonyms list was created by a non-native english speaker or thrown together without enough thought.

6 - my solution to the forced uppercase titles...
function upper_title($title)
{
$title= //strtoupper <-- added the // to remove the auto uppercase of title
($title);
return $title;
}
everyone has their own opinions of what works and/or looks best, i'm not a fan of plug-ins forcing styling on my pages.

7 - having multiple copies of the same post on a page gives different results for each... main post and recent posts with excerpts in sidebar.

in the end, worth the $30 and makes mass splogging much easier without the fear of too much duplicate content.

With that said, if you expect the text on the pages to be read and taken seriously then it might not be the best solution... i deal with adult content so i'm not expecting my readers to be doing much reading, the text is only for SEO purposes.

Having access to the words/synonyms would (for me) make a huge difference. I know my audience and i know what words work... replacing 'black hair' with 'dim hair' = bad seo, replacing 'black c*ck' with 'dim c*ck' = fail.

anyway, i'm off to mess around some more with my new plug-in toy.

Ok, I've had this for a bit, but took it off my blog a while back due to the incoherancy of the content. However, I've given it another go and have a suggestion. I think the one thing that may make this the perfect solution for SEO as well as real user would be this:

If there was an option built in where the plug-in would rewrite everything after the 7th post or so, and automatically update the necessary posts as newer ones are published.

This sounds a little confusing, but let me explain. The blog I am using this on, gets decent real traffic, but what I notice is that if a visitor sees the first couple of posts and they are rubbish, then they will normally not come back to my blog. However, if the plug-in would leave the most updated posts alone, about the latest 7 posts that have been published, this would solve that issue. Personally, I use CC to auto post, so the plug-in should have the ability to change the coding in my posts as new ones are published. Inserting <DONTREWRITE> in new posts, and taking it off those posts that are older than the '7th' post. I hope this is making sense to you guys, but I feel that doing this would make this plug-in perfect! That way, the majority of the site is still unique, since most blogs are comprised of a lot more than 7 posts...specially for you autobloggers. So Google will be satisfied, and so will the real visitors to your site. Anyone think this will be at all possible with this plugin? So far, I'm manually doing it, but it get tedious, specially if you have more than say 10 blogs to manage. I'm sure this feat will be doable to some BHW geniuses in here.

Kindly check your PM.

Kindly put the word "the" in the words.txt file and it will be ignores by WriteAgain!

My review :

I bought this plugins, and use the word list from undergroundguru's autblogscracked, and the result :

1. yes it's easy to use and worked properly
2. The quality of rewritten articles is not too good, you have to edit the result manually so the rewritten article look natural, otherwise, it's a bit awkward, using uncommon words at uncommon place.

So, this plugins will change words from the original articles but before publishing your new articles, I recommend to do your manual editing

Ok, I have been using this plugin for a little bit now and I have to say I really like having it. When I activate it and the posts look messed up, I update my word list to make the posts a little more "normal". It is an EXCELLENT plugin for my autoblogging needs.

spikeanuts suggestion is an excellent idea and one I'd like to see implemented.

just curious how you managed to use another word list with the plug-in.

the word list is my biggest issue so I'd appreciate any info on how to replace or modify it.

this goes out to the developer as well.. anyway I could modify the word list?

Yeah, I'm sitting here at 11:45 PM, with my finger up my butt thinking the same thing. How can I work with the word list? The results, out of the box, so far are bordering on giberish. Now, if I could get some REAL synonyms in there.......

Christopher, you got it wrong, actually Underground Guru had made a word list which when you add to the "words.txt", the output becomes more readable. You can download this list here.

Just replace this list with the original list words.txt file and the output will become much more readable.

I will add the functionality of adding your own synonyms and changing the current ones in the next version.

Great sura, and thanks, but how can WE do it ouselves right now without screwing things up?

I don't understand how some of you are having so much trouble with the words.txt file. Just open it up in cpanel and add some words to the list (one word per line) and save it, thats it. If you can upload the plugin, you should be able to figure this out.

So, if we knew how to upload, or even use cpanel, all we would need to do is add a bunch of words, and the php file would automatically know the synonyms for any (thousands even) word we put in?

I'm glad that's settled. Thanks.

Mate, currently there's NO option for the users to change/add words in synonymous database but I'll for add that in the next version.

I interest this plugin. can this plugin keep any keyword in the articles or only rewrite all words ?.

Yes, just add the words you DON'T wanna rewrite to words.txt file and they will be ignored by WriteAgain!

Dear, surajprakash31

I have tried to install this plugin to myhost, but got error like this :

Warning: file(/home/javu/public_html/carinsurance/wp-content/plugins/WriteAgain!/words.txt) [function.file]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/javu/public_html/carinsurance/wp-content/plugins/WriteAgain!.php on line 201
and

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/javu/public_html/carinsurance/wp-content/plugins/WriteAgain!.php on line 204

How can I fix this error ? Should my webhost enable CURL ?

Make a blank .txt file name it "words.txt" and upload in the WriteAgain! folder.
