Is there a proxy that can hide the referrer and host location? E.g I don't want my tracking program to show that a click came from a proxy server.

Hmm, referer is determined by the browser or application that you're using to send the "click". The proxy doesn't control whether or not referers are leaked. As far as host location goes, if you use an anonymous proxy, it won't appear that you're using a proxy, so the host is sort of cloaked in that way - does that answer your question?

I've never been able to find a legitimate proxy service. Everyone I've come across has been basically a scam. Or it's so complicated to use that I just give up.

Using anonymous (or high anonymous/elite) proxies should disable detection of proxies. Let me know if that works for you

Right, automation mode is designed to run automatically, if you're using the program manually then it wouldn't know what to do automatically. I would suggest checking the box 'Begin running automatically when PM starts' under the Configuration -> Automation area. As long as you enable that option it will begin running automatically when the program opens and write to file, send emails, etc. Correct, if you're manually testing/fetching proxies, it won't perform the post automation tasks.

There is no option to check against multiple URLs. I'll look into adding this option to a future release.

1) test against http://www.tagged.com with the search string reg_form
2) proxy speed: medium (<3 sec) or better

But it's only 400 proxies!

Are you filtering for anonymity as well? Or by country? Not to mention, that is a social media website and those are typically more restrictive on proxies.

Hey Dreaded, hate to be the bearer of bad news but public UK proxies are fairly rare. You should be able to pull at least 5-10 if you let the program scrape all the URLs it has built in, and those 2 may yield more when the program begins its proxy scraping feature, but again public UK proxies are rare.

I can only gather about 30-100 proxies if I'm lucky. It's probably because I'm testing it against a specific URL but 30-100 is not enough and plus the software I plug the proxies into tells me that some of the proxies are bad. So I'm actually getting less than 30-100 proxies max.

Maybe it's just me? Are there certain settings I need to be aware of in order to gather proxies towards a certain URL?

After I rebooted my VPS Windows Server 2008 today Proxy Multiply won't open giving me an error:



I've already submitted a ticket but didn't get a reply yet.

Please fix this ASAP because I paid for the software and I need to run it 24/7!
