hello, is this tool useful if we already have scrapebox (and its proxy finder/tester) ?

Proxy Multiply is indeed significantly more useful than Scrapebox's proxy tester as it functions to search Google, Bing and Yahoo for additional proxy lists rather than just acting as a proxy scraper, and has a significantly more extensive list of features and options than Scrapebox's scraper.

Scrapebox is a wonderful commenter/poster/pinging tool and we fully support the product, but its proxy scraper is lacking in features compared to Proxy Multiply. It's like comparing the climate controls in a car to a furnace - while the car is able to heat and cool, the furnace does a better job.

Probably the best proxy program I've ever used though I'm about out of the trial period and won't have the cash to purchase for awhile. During testing the only issue I really ran into was over the last 2 days. The first 3 days it would find proxies fine and test fine, out of every 25000 scraped, would get 300-500 working ones. Last 2 days I can leave running automated and check every hour and it won't get above 30-40 proxies. Unsure what the issue is or even if it is an issue. Anyone have any ideas?

Anyway definitely a must have piece of software if you're in need of proxies. Already subscribed through Paypal to your site that offers proxies daily and will likely continue using that until I have the cash to purchase the software outright.

Just to update, left automation running went to work. Got back to 2 proxies. Logged into the proxy-list and pulled 567 lvl 1&2 proxies, imported them into PM and ran get proxies. pulled up 25k, then tested. down to 3 proxies. Anyone have any ideas? First 3 days, I would've had several hundred just using the base URLS to pull from.

Mine was working ok this morning (UK) and now gives me an error box "A system formatExeption: Could not find any recognizable digits:"

Obviousley their end and not ours.

Opening and searching fine for me though it's still only finding a handful of proxies after running for hours. Definitely got a customer here jrim if we can figure out why its not working like it did the first few days of the trial

Hi unikbit, please enable the automation settings (Configure -> Automation) and also the File Output settings (Configure -> Automation -> File Output) to force PM to output working proxies to a text file. You should then be able to configure Xrumer to read proxies from the text file.

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. The error was due to a server issue on our end. The issue has been resolved. We understand that many people depend on Proxy Multiply for its abilities and we want to assure you that downtime is a rare occurrence. We have put several measures in place to ensure that this issue does not occur again.

Your patience in resolving this is sincerely appreciated.

Hi lou, did you maybe make adjustments to the 'Check against specific URL' setting in the Configure -> HTTP Proxy Testing window? Try disabling that option and see if your issues resolve. Beyond that, check your security software (anti-virus, anti-malware, etc) and ensure Proxy Multiply is not being blocked.

Hmm, it's also odd that the program was still opening for you during the period of downtime (assuming you tried to open it during that time) as it was a system-wide server error that prevented ANY copies of PM from opening. Please examine my above suggestions and let me know how that works out for you.

Uninstalled and reinstalled and liked ur fb page to extend the trial. Software good as new. In the middle of an automated run but once its done I'll reopen to make sure the trial issue is resolved. Much thanks jrim.

I downloaded the trial version, very nice, but for some reason the automatic txt or cvs export is not working. I lowered the number to even 20 proxies, but nothing. I have to make manual export. And sometimes the list that was previously loaded and test if I don't export it might not be there an hour later. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong.

Hi timmy, thank you for taking the time to evaluate Proxy Multiply!

Just to clarify how the automation mode works: in order for a proxy file to be automatically exported by the automation mode, you must let the software work automatically (don't manually search for or test proxies). Try enabling the option 'Begin running automatically when Proxy Multiply opens' in the Configure->Automation mode and restarting Proxy Multiply. After it finishes testing proxies, the file will be updated automatically.

Correct, Proxy Multiply saves the proxy list between sessions.
