I recently bought Proxy Multiply (likely to replace Proxy Goblin). I've been playing about with settings but wondered what are the recommended settings to just leave it on to keep producing a list of latest fresh proxies for SeNuke XCr, GSA Search Engine Ranker and Scrapebox.

Somebody here has to have insight to give! Just to clarify, the proxy booster add-on increases your proxy scrape results by automatically adding newly scraped proxy URLs (that have working proxies) to the URL list and periodically pruning the list to remove URLs which produced no good proxies.

I just did as well (replaced PG with PM), after a few months of putting it off.

Thank you for your purchase! Let's evaluate your needs here:

1. For Scrapebox and GSA, I believe you you need Google enabled proxies. The proxies can be of any anonymity; you do not just need anonymous/elite proxies (transparent proxies work fine). You do want unknown anonymity proxies deleted as they usually require a login or have some other sort of redirection set-up.
2. For SeNuke XCr, I'm not positive what type of proxies you need but Google enabled ones should work fine.

So, your testing settings should look like this (click Configure in the main window):

As far as producing a constantly ready list goes, you are again going to want to click Configure, then select the 'Automation' section. Enable automation to run every 15 minutes and set your proxy threshold to 100 or 200 (or whatever is realistically attainable). Feel free to select the 'File Output' section to force PM to write to a file after every automation cycle. Lastly, select the 'General' tab in configuration menu and check the 'Do not retest proxies checked within ..'. This will prevent your proxies from being tested too often and killed due to the testing (see screenshot).

Lastly, if you aren't finding enough proxies for your needs, consider the Proxy Booster add-on (click the green gear labeled 'Add-Ons' in the main window) to enhance your proxy finding ability.

Your support of the tool and desire to listen to users and take on board their suggestions was the reason I decided to buy it. Also, I also got the Proxy Booster.

Jrim do great job. Only one small information should by added in to page about addons. You dont have to download them, after payment just restart PM and you will have license updated and plugins are working

the software quits for me after running for 24 hours finding anon proxies ;-(

says "a new guard page for the stack cannot be created"

then quits and i lose all the proxies it found.......

plus sadly the couple of times i have saved some "mid run" as csv, after quitting and restarting it doesnt alow to re- import the csv, only basic text files!!!

Hi makingbank, I'm very sorry for the troubles! I haven't heard of that error but if you submit a screenshot to me via private message, it will greatly assist in solving the problem. We have encountered issues with long periods of the software running though which are related to .NET object management schemes. To solve the problem, just try restarting the software every day or so. You can accomplish that automatically using the Windows Task Scheduler. We are actively seeking a resolution to the problem but you can exercise preventative measures in the mean time.

CSV import is not implemented due to the fact that there is no standard format for CSV files. One CSV file may format proxies completely differently than another CSV file and thus PM doesn't know where to look for proxies. A feature will be implemented in the next update to address CSV file importing. In the mean time, you can import them easily by opening the CSV file in Excel, copying the proxy column to your clipboard (CTRL+C), then import from the clipboard in Proxy Multiply (CTRL+O or CTRL+I).

Hi Wayne, thank you for your interest in Proxy Multiply! What do you mean that you tried to add a 10k proxy list? If you mean you tried to import a list of 10k and the program only imported 4k, then the other 6k were duplicates. Were you using the 'Get Proxies!' button to scrape with a 10k limit enabled on the list size? Can you clarify on exactly what you were trying to do?

Hi cody, sorry but Proxy Multiply functions as a scraper, not a scanner.
