Hi i bought the software yesterday ive been trying it out my settings are check the country proxies,proxy testing for http is set at 3 sec and ive ticked in anonymity and filtering everything apart from delete anonymous elite/high proxies.My issue is that i can not go above 3 threads to use in general settings as my firefox browser become totally unresponsive, i have a 100 meg connection with 10 meg upload i`am running the software off a new i5 laptop with 8 gig of ram connected to a 5ghz Asus router can anyone tell me why this happening when i can happily download at 100meg wireless thanks

Hey jcm, thank you for your business! That is very odd that you can't exceed 3 threads, especially on a brand new laptop. What other numbers have you tried? Is there another program running in the background that is consuming the majority of your processing power? Try opening the Task Manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL) and see if any programs are using a high amount of CPU (above 25). Just to clarify, is the issue that your PC actually runs slowly or just that the internet is impacted?

Furthermore, can you please go to www.speedtest.net, run the speedtest and post the screenshot of results?

Hi and thanks for the reply sorry i don`t know how to do sceenshot but ive just tested my connection and i got 97 meg and 9.4 meg up my cpu is at 12%,i tried running at 10 connections and gradually went down. Its my internet that just grinds to a halt i have to stop the software and restart my browser to get it to work again,as a note previously used proxy switcher and it did not give me any of the issues.

Hi, proxy switcher does not test proxies, it just provides you lists of proxies. Proxy Multiply spends time testing proxies to ensure you receive working, up-to-the-minute tested valid proxies. It sounds as if you have an issue with your router or firewall blocking or slowing the connections down. The issue may even be ISP related. Unfortunately this issue is out of the scope of our product and I cannot provide you further assistance but I would strongly recommend researching and troubleshooting your router (if you use one) and your cable modem. Especially if your router or modem have firewall features built in.

Just a quick update it appears to be a problem with my router firewall it appears to be ok now thanks for the support anyway

Got a noob question.

I just grabbed the trial version of PM, looks great!

I've got craigslist mailer too. I don't know how to configure PM to grab the mailer proxies I need efficiently.

These are what I can use:
socks4:1.2.3.4:100
socks4:1.2.3.4:100:userassword
socks5:1.2.3.4:100
socks5:1.2.3.4:100:userassword

Maybe somebody could provide a couple steps to get me these mailer proxies.

BTW, is there a pdf?

another little thing was, I added 3 sender accounts, then deleted 1, but when I pressed send, it began sending from that deleted sender, lol. I closed and reopened, the deleted one was back again. So I sent a few emails, closed, reopened, and voila, the deleted sender is finally gone. haha. It's either me or just whatever. Anyway, I could still use help getting some mailer proxies... :bad:

Hi blackhat, the software can find region/city information for proxies but there is no filtering in place for the regions as of now. However, as you noted, there is filtering (automatic proxy deletion) based on country.

Hey Hollywood, thank you for taking the time to evaluate Proxy Multiply!

From reading your post, it sounds like the mailer software is a bit buggy. I cannot explain to you why the proxies may not be working in the software but if you use Mozilla Firefox browser, you can plug the SOCKS4/5 proxies into Mozilla to try and verify the status of the proxies. I can assure you that if Proxy Multiply says the proxy works, it did indeed connect successfully. You may wish to try re-testing your good proxy list twice or even thrice to ensure the proxies are stable and can handle consistent connections.

There is no PDF help guide but there is a web version at http://proxy.jrimsoftware.com/help/. If the web version is not appropriate for you, please let us know and we will work on providing a PDF version.

By the way Hollywood, you can automatically delete dead proxies during testing by enabling the option to do so under the Configure -> General menu.

Great, thank you for your troubleshooting efforts! The tests take longer because the proxies are tested 2 separate times for both SOCKS4 and SOCKS5 if you have both enabled, potentially doubling your proxy testing time. Don't worry if the SOCKS proxies are not consistent on speed; the important factor is that the proxies consistently test as working and valid.
