what does your bot do?

a quick rundown before i make a purchase please
Creates blog accounts on 16 different platforms, automatically verifies emails, and can later upload posts to those accounts it created. Obviously there are a lot more features than this but you asked for a quick rundown :)

Is the bot still in beta? If so, when do you expect the release?
Yes, it's still in beta. No specific ETA yet, but the internal beta has entered the final testing stage. No new code will be added, I will only test all the modules. After I complete the tests myself, I'll release the final beta to the users on the forum. After the final bugs have been ironed out, I'll release it to the public.

How much do you guys really want blogger (blogspot) support?

The reason I'm asking is because I'm thinking of removing the support for it. It is very difficult to code for and the module is buggy as it is. Plus, a Blogger account requires a Google account which often (or always?) have to be phone verified. Best case scenario is to create multiple blogs under one account in Blogger, which can be disabled by Google at once. Additionally, I believe all blogspot posts are nofollow.

Also, from the uberBlogCreator 1 feedback it seems like not that many people used Blogger module in the first place.

Do suggest an alternative platform at the same time :)

Hey,

I ordered a copy here : uberblogcreatordotcom/countdown

In my opinion if the program makes multiple blogs under one account in Blogger, which can be disabled by Google at once, seems good enough.
I read about your program and cant wait to buy it. Please make also available some testing period (such as a monthly option, or some trial period)

I think you should not get rid of Blogger platform, since it could be used for other purposes too.

Ok, thanks guys. I'll see what I can do about it.

Anyway, welcome to another day of going through the new features of the new uberBlogCreator. Today's feature: how to add articles to your blogs? :D

In the previous versions one of the most requested feature was the ability to add the title to every individual post. uberBlogCreator 2 introduces that, and more. A picture is worth a thousand words:

gtGrq

As you can see, every article has a [title=Title Goes Here] tag. The text in this tag is what is going to be used as a title. This text is naturally spinnable. Article body is below. You can add a new paragraph by specifying the [newline] tag. Then, instead of using a silly way of separating the new articles using the new line, you simply write the [newarticle] tag.

But the real interesting part is the first few lines of this text. As you can probably conclude, uberBlogCreator 2 has the ability to grab the contents from a feed and post it to your blog. Even so with a few specific parameters: 1) It'd be silly to scrape all contents from a feed because that may include contents that's 2-3 or even more years old. The "date" parameter tells uberBlogCreator after what date should it scrape the content. So, for example, if today is November 1st, and you put "2012-10-30" in the date tag, uberBlogCreator will only grab the content from that feed that has been published on or after 2012-10-30 (so October 30th, 2012). And it supports FeedBurner. Couple this feature with the up and coming drip-feed feature and you've got yourself some $$$ :)

But what good is adding existing articles/feeds to your blog if you can't customize it? That's why you have the two optional "addafter" and "addbefore" tags. In these tags you can specify any HTML (as long as the platform you're posting to supports it) and these two HTML elements will be added before or after (or both) the article grabbed from the feed. I think this is really neat.

As for the status update regarding the software itself: the testing is proceeding according to my plans. Right now, Wordpress, Posterous, TravelBlog, and a few other platforms have been tested and are flawless. Xanga is not working and it may be replaced by some other platform. The rest of the platforms have all been coded and are pending testing.

The release is near :)

Couple of somewhat bad announcements:

1) Blogger is definitely out for two reasons: Google requires ALL new accounts to be phone verified and this kindof defeats the purpose of the uberBlogCreator. Additionally, Blogger has switched to a silly new dashboard that is entirely javascript-powered, and ubc cannot evaluate that complex javascript at the moment.

2) HubPages might be out too. I've just spent the last two days writing code for HubPages and it worked. However, when I finally wanted to publish the article, it asked me for a phone verification as well. However this may be because I created 20 different accounts from the same IP in the past 5 minutes. We'll see how it goes.

I will now take suggestions for the hubpages and blogger alternative. I have 4 in my mind:
Code:
blogetry.com
penzu.com
thoughts.com
drupalgardens.com

Vote for one of these, or tell me which one you think would be a good idea to add.

one suggestion if you already have alternatives to other social platforms they all should be present irrespective of blogspot/hubpages being there or not...

limiting to 16 is not good when software like senuke has 30+

Last time I checked SENuke was also $147/month :)

I have some important news to share with you guys.

uberBlogCreator 2 is finished.

I have just finished adding final touches and implementing some last-minute features, mostly related to the work scheduler feature. On the go I've also been fixing bugs and such, of course.

Don't celebrate yet, though. It still has to undergo further internal testing before I release the beta 3 to the privileged members of the uberBlogCreator forums (and this beta 3 will more likely be a final release candidate). I have changed some platforms that have proven to be difficult to manage and quite buggy. Of the big ones, unfortunately Blogger and HubPages are out - both require phone verification for new accounts, and additionally they're both quite complex to parse. I might change more platforms as I test them if I see it fit, but overall we I have the final version of the software on my computer. The release is imminent.

Those who are "The Privileged" on the uberBlogCreator forums will all be sent an email once Beta 3 is released.

While Beta 3 is being tested, I will work on writing the documentation/help file and maybe some tutorial videos. Provided that there are no critical problems with the beta 3 (and I doubt there will be), the release should be expected very soon. I will not give out specific dates (though I do have one set for myself) because I failed the last two times. But, expect it, like I said, very soon.

Thank you all for patience and continuing support.

I made a quick overview of uberBlogCreator 2 and tried to outline some differences between this guy and versions 1.0 and 1.5. Release is very near now.

Will you be able to add Link Tree features in the future? So we can build link pyramids on auto?

No promotion going on at the moment, but once it has been released, BHW members will get a discount price on the subscription ;)

uberBlogCreator 2 Release Candidate has been released!

It also available as sort-of public beta. Everyone with a valid license can download it - meaning everyone who has some kind of subscription (be it lifetime with v1, or pre-order, or other) can download it and use it.

It is available for download here: http://uberblogcreator.com/2/forum/Forum-The-Privileged-Discussion-BETA-DOWNLOAD-HERE (note: threads visible only to registered members with a valid license)

The final release will come after the bugs reported in this version have been ironed out - but I don't expect that to take long (read: less than 2 weeks).

Cheers,
Bo
