Right now it really is. I have too many new features to add as it is :) I will not disclose the feature list yet - it will however be available for those who are going to be beta testers.

Regards
I pay you another $5 to be a beta tester :drinking2

Guys please stop PM'ing me about this...

NO THE TUMBLR FIX HAS NOT BEEN IMPLEMENTED. AND ITS NOT GOING TO BE FIXED UNTIL JUNE.

My grandparent died... if you ask anyone else on the forums who had emailed support, I am sure 99% of them will tell you that I respond within less than 24 hours.

I can vouch for this - his support on the whole has been excellent. Which is why im surprised that there is no article uploading fix, essentially making UBC useless until 2.0 comes out...

I totally understand the reasoning for this, 1.x is buggy as hell and you needed a fresh start from our conversations on skype in the past. And its obv not a small job to create 2.0 from scratch.

It still is quite annoying however, that software that was clearly not advertised as beta when i purchased is now unusable and unsupported until mid june... and from the PM's i have received im not alone in thinking this.

Its for this reason id like to make a recommendation of a open beta? Even if its buggy as hell, we might be able to get some use out of it while you continue fixing bugs. Although i have no experience of working with open betas so there may be a underlying reason why you cant (if there is could you share why please).

This being said - im sure when 2.0 comes out deusdies will be supporting UBC like he used to support 1.x - his support is usually AWESOME which is the only reason that im not as annoyed as i would be normally about UBC being useless for 2 months.

Any requirment for beta?

@MrBeastsOnToasts the problem is that when uberBlogCreator came out it was working great... all the modules worked fine, etc. However the platforms are changing rapidly, something I did not initially predict, and it was hard for me to keep up with the updates.

I can't make it an open beta, however. The reason is because I have a bad past experience when making any software open beta - people would naturally assume it is the production-ready software and then my inbox will be swarmed with emails from people complaining. Additionally, there are other reasons that I would prefer not to disclose.

The article upload fix would take a tremendous amount of time and requires a lot of the code rewrite, which is why I chose not to fix it with 1.x series.

An interesting new feature in uberBlogCreator 2 is that it will have 4 different internal browsers implemented - and you will be able to pick your "preferred" browser. Should one browser fail, uberBlogCreator will automatically attempt to proceed with the next one. The current browser that uberBlogCreator 1 uses is poorly documented and not that great in itself, but it will remain in the version 2 as well under the name of ubc.LegacyBrowser. Also, unlike some tools that use the IE browser for registration, uberBlogCreator's ubc.Complex browser will use WebKit as the rendering engine (the same engine Google Chrome and Apple Safari use) which is probably the fastest rendering engine that exists and it has full JavaScript support. I cannot however guarantee that all 4 browsers will make it before the release since I've just started learning one of them, but in any case there will be at least 3.

: the only major requirement is that you have a lifetime license of uberBlogCreator purchased already. Other than that I will expect my beta testers to provide me with daily (preferably) reports on uberBlogCreator. There will be a special section of the forum for them, and I will constantly ask for the opinions on the application/website design, etc. So basically you need to be online on Skype/GTalk even while you sleep :)

Thanks for the info - i agree when UBC first came out it was awesome. Roll on v2.0!

I have to agree, its a wise descision to make this a monthly service. For those who have yet to try this software, its one of the best in the market and with the current one-time fees, better grab now before its too late.

could you implement automatic piramid creator?
for example
tier 1-10
tier 2 30
tier 3 70
tier 4 120
This option would allow you to charge a nice sum for 2.0 and make me and others very happy right folks?

Let him first release 2.0 later upgrades he can built in Dope growing or whatever...but first 2.0 :D If permanently new ideas would be implemented it will take time until beta and final release...and we are waiting...

What old UberBlogcreator Buyer Still get Free Update For V.2 ???

Thanks

What features will be in 2.0? sorry I did not see any voting...... I own licence for your software but never used it, waiting for the new version.

Will there be specials for BHW members when you reach public beta?

thank you for a quick response to my question. I realize that this program is still in a early stages....I will assume you work on it part time... Do you think that with 2.0 you will be able to work on it full time or hire more staff to help you out?

There will be specials, yes, but there will be no public beta :) Only private beta.

That's the general idea, yes.
