Can the op please explain to me with a little detail on how exactly the gateway unlocks and detects when a user has completed an offer?

CLP V2.0 uses two methods to unlock (you can choose for each locker you setup).

These are: postback OR timer.

Postback - in simple terms, CLP would generate a tracking pixel which would be placed on the advertiser's offer (majority of networks allow you to do this via your affiliate manager or control panel). When a user completes an offer, CLP knows the offer has been completed and the gateway will unlock.

Timer - exactly as it sounds. You set the length of time for the gateway to unlock after. So if you choose 60 seconds, the gateway will pop up, and after 60 seconds it will automatically unlock (whether or not they have completed an offer).

Postback is the most accurate, but takes more time to setup than a timer. From our testing, using a timer with a 2 minute wait converts just as well as postback. Some users might even complete 2 offers if they are still waiting

I've just purchased Content Lock Pro v2.0. But, rushing to get started, I hadn't read the opening post well enough and I didn't click on "return to merchant" link after purchase. Well, after reading a couple of posts more, it seems I wasn't the only one. Anyway I sent an email to support, I'm sure they'll sort me out.

After lurking around for quite some time (definitely way too long!) I decided it's past time to TAKE ACTION. The route I chose to take is CPA offers with locked content. Is this not recommended for newbies?

The purchase of CLP2 was the obvious way to start. Now I need to get accepted to some CPA networks. Any recommendations (or advice AGAINST any networks)?

You've made a good choice to get started

Support will be able to send you a small list of networks we recommend. As you are quite new to CPA, you won't get accepted everywhere. I'd recommend signing up to quite a few and testing them. Everyone has their favourites

The license is tied to one domain. Therefore, CLP can only be INSTALLED on one domain. However, from this central install you can setup as many lockers you like for as many different domains as you like. It just needs to be controlled from the one central domain. Hope that makes sense

We don't guarantee support on weekends, but it's rare for a ticket to go unanswered for both days. It's not always within 24 hours but we do our best

I just got CLP set up today and I'm very glad I decided to buy it. I went through setting up a locker and messing around with all the settings for an hour or two to get familiar with everything. This thing allows you a lot of options to customize the look of your locker and I really like that you can create a new locker by copying an existing one and then just tweak the settings you want. I can bust out a new content locker in just a couple minutes now if I need to.

so for which countries and languages can this be used?
i would be interested in french and german content locking would i be able to create a content locker in the french and german languages w/ french and german cpa's?
