#578 It's probably a 403 when trying to connect to Google. Check your proxies.

#579 There's not too many bugs, but it is a pretty advanced software so it does take a day or so to get used to how to work it properly. Email me: support AT keywordscout.com

REVIEW

I bought this software a week ago. These subheaders are main points that any internet marketer should focus on when buying a new software: price (vs competitors), value per dollar (if it's cheaper or more expensive, does it justify the added or less features?), learning curve (adding another software can be a pain when the software is in a totally new platform with a high learning curve), communication and quality (bugs, how indepth the searches are etc).

Price - 4/5

The original price was really close to $200. But macdonjo has done a good job of lowering the price in order to stay competitive. Actually, if this was close to $200, it would be steep but the price would be justified (which I would explain in VPD section).

Value Per Dollar - 5/5

This software was worth every dollar I spent on it. Why? Because of the features that I can't find in other tools. Let's face it, many IMers are lazy which was why we always want to outsource. However, when using this tool, I don't think there's any need for it.

In my case, I want EMDs. EMDs whose search results don't lie. EMDs that I can profit on. For me to do so, I only want exacts. So naturally, you would get A LOT of keywords then sort them through exact results and then you have to pick one that's not only a high sought after keyword but one that's also profitable. The problem is, most IMers do not have the time. So what would I do? Just go RANDOM.

I take off the brand names (love this feature too) and just go random with maximum numbers. I then sort the column if EMDs are available, get all the profitable ones, put them in a list then search for random keywords again. In 24 hours, I got almost 10 profitable EMDs. Each of one them I project to be making me $10 a day starting on November. After I get the EMD, I pass them to my site creation team and then they pass it to my SEO team for ranking.

If macdonjo can configure the tool to go after 1000 results instead of 250 max then that would be SILVER. If macdonjo can let the tool focus on a niche for the random then that would be GOLDEN (hope you're reading this man :P )

Communication - 4/5

I haven't had any problems with communication but if service/software providers would want to be on top, there are 2 areas in communication they should provide access for clients: EMAIL and INSTANT MESSAGING (Skype or instant chat support etc). They have email available but no instant messaging.

Learning Curve - 5/5

I bought it. Watched a 10 min video then I was able to use it in maximum efficiency. The fact that there are many videos available and the tool itself is light and simple can help any newbie IMer or expert IMer put the pedal on the metal in a very quick time. Easy to learn and easy to use -- love it.

Quality - 4.5 / 5

I encountered two bugs so far. The first one was when the program crashed and would crash again and again whenever I try to let it process 800+ keywords (all data for them). I tried it again but then it crashed again. SO that's the first bug.

The second bug was when I used it on Day 2, my license was disapproved so I have to message them to fix it. They did and it was sorted out immediately.

OVERALL - 4.5 / 5

This tool really has potential to be the next big EMD scraper. I love it and will continue to use it until of course, the quality will decline (let's hope it won't, rather, it would improve). If anyone would ask for an EMD finder, I would recommend this so if you guys are looking for one -- choose Keyword Scout :)

nice review, but obviously you haven't used the product enough -- otherwise you wouldn't have given it a 4.5/5 on quality.

When I give reviews, I don't stop there. It's just an initial one that I will follow up next month. I wonder why you said that, anything in particular that is bad in quality? I hope I don't get a general answer but a very exact one.

importing ips from a file doesn't work. that's an obvious oversite. Things simply disappear on me too when I use the program. Sometimes keywords don't show up in the SEO Analyzer when you copy them over. And I've had that license bug show up multiple times. I had to contact them at least 3 times to re-activate it. Just to name a few. I've had the program 3 months now and have not seen one update.

1. Importing IPs can easily be done by copy+paste so I may have overlooked that because I just copy and paste

2. Disappear how? I haven't experienced any disappearance.

3. I've experienced license bug only once but I'll report in the next review if I experience it again.

4. Three months without an update sounds alarming. Hmm.

Al are attractive......gonna contact you soon.hopping of getting the best one.....

Yes, that is my biggest concern. Bugs I can live with as long as they ship updates

Just thought I'd point out that the software breaks every 2-3 days as per Google's update and we must recode a portion of the code on a server before anyone can use it. It isn't a easy, nor cheap job, but our team gets it done before even 0.1% of the users email support. On a monthly subscription software you might expect that, but on a lifetime one-time payment software, it's a little different.

Thanks

Getting stuck at "Loading Page" when scraping for keywords.

I have private proxies on. I keep repeating and the same things happen. Please advise.

We know.
Google has updated again. We're coding a fix.

Normally it only takes a couple hours, but this one seems to be a bit different than the normal weekly change.

NOTICE

I'd just like to give you guys a heads up. The software may turn into a monthly subscription based software this month. What does this mean? All lifetime licenses will continue to work as normal. Lifetime license may be still sold, but will be bumped to 2 to 10 times the current price.

So if you're on the fence about buying, you can still buy now at the regular price, as I probably won't be making another notice before the price goes up and the monthly option is implemented.

But for this one, how long will it take? I'm asking cause I was in the middle of using it and I have not yet finished what I was doing.

I purchased and got everything the next morning.
Worked great and I am learning. WHen I got to scraping down - past the keywords onto the domains etc... it put up 50-60 capcha's and crashed before I could complete them all.
I read the user manual and it really didn't mention the captcha or if I needed to do something different.
Can you let me know what I am missing? thanks.

SORRY this is so public - I can't PM
