Do you accept clients that are legitimately bulk mailing opt-in data? I ask because there will be complaints even on good data, it's unavoidable.

Yes if it's opt-in there won't be any problems

You could've also reboot the server yourself ​under "My services" > "View details" button next to your VPS > "Management Actions" select Hard reboot
