Safest solution is to buy the smallest quantity, that is 5 IDs and test it all yourself. If it works for you, you can buy more, if it doesn't work for you, then don't buy more.

IMO this is the appropriate answer to all of your questions!

We have never done it, therefore, can't guide really. But its good that you have purchased just 5 IDs. Test it and if it works then scale up. This is all that I can say really.
