Just so people don't get the wrong idea as I am sure some will, the blog post posted by Anon752 just shows what I wrote above that this update is to tackle keyword stuffing and heavily spun content. It does not talk at depth about any type of linking so this is not even meant to affect NHSEO. It is just a coincidence that the bunch of keyword stuffed content happens to have lots of NHSEO in it.

I'm not writing this to have a go at Anon752, I am simply trying to reiterate to people that this update is not to even trying to affect NHSEO it is about onsite content.

Hey Jim,

I wasnt actually attempting to state that this update was about No Hands SEO, just that it was funny that their keyword stuffing example had No Hands all over it :)

I seem to be having problems with lindexed api not taking my successful posts. made a ticket to their site but still waiting for a reply. it seems to be happening from both my copies of nhs. probably an issue on their end as it was working before. Is there anyway you could add a feature in the future to publish lindexed pings in large batches so they can be dripped? When they posted they where posting to lindexed they where posting 1 url per post. This makes it so the drip fed feature wont work.

I agree that Matt's post seemed to be about keyword stuffing and heavily spun articles, nothing that NHSEO would produce.

Why did he pick NHSEO keywords for an example though? He has a trillion pages to choose from and he picked NHSEO. I think there must be some subtle message there.

Congrats Jimbo! You are famous @ Google! :)

The text was a screenshot of a webpage, it is more about it being a huge coincidence that that page was chosen and it happened to have link spam about NHSEO (and many other tools), I doubt very much that they were thinking of NHSEO at all when doing this update.

LOL...that was pretty crazy there Jim. They werent targeting nohandsseo, but obviously they know of it. There it is. Im sure they have taken a look at it. We can always play cat and mouse and im sure there are people who will help.

Anyhow. I just got some private proxies, I have five available now. What would you suggest for the posting part. I do all my searching via a constantly updated public proxy and it seems to be good enough. With the private proxy what do you or you guys suggest.

Thanks!

You can use the private proxies for posting, it should increase acceptance rate (if your custom comments are legible and niche relevant) a little and will prevent your IP from ending up on any sort of spam list. You need to make sure that if the proxies go down at the end of the month that they are removed from the tool right away to ensure that you do not have posting time where your proxies are not working.

Also you really need to get a posted links per hour counter so we can keep track if we are doing well with posting. Possibly per each profile. That would be sick!!!!! Then you wont have so many people asking if what they are doing is right....they can just test and test until they get a maximum number for themselves and their connnect / computer etc.

BTW I really do love this product. I fire it at my money sites and no issues and its really helped my company make a ton of cash.

Thanks, I'm glad you like the tool. I am wanting to add things like a backlink counter but they are more to satisfy curiosity than something that would often be used for anything particularly helpful.

Oh I know mate, no worries. I just wanted to reiterate for the other people that may read that and think that NHSEO is in some way gonna "get turned off" by google (I have already been asked this by one person).

I didn't want you to think that I was trying to have a go at you, I was just trying to be clear about what this update entails for those that may get the wrong idea from the blog post.

A few tools integrated Lindexed in the last week. I talked to the people at Lindexed last night when I noticed all of my tools werent sending links anymore. They disabled them, everybody was sending 1 link at a time as 1 campaign at a time. This was overloading the system, they want them sent in batches. I was told that all the developers are working on fixing their end and things should be fixed shortly.

@Detonator - sorry mate I didn't see your response. Anon is correct the lindexed turned off the API for a short time while the developers of different tools change their submission system to send all links at once. I think it is getting turned back on later on today.

No Hands SEO already has these changes implemented so make sure you update if you haven't already.

Jimbo, quick question about the proxy feature.

Does the "proxy for posting" work the same way with "proxy for searching" with the proxy harvester?

If check both for posting and searching with the harvested proxies been used when posting comments, or do you have to add you own in the text box?

No the harvested proxies aren't used for posting as they would severely lower your results, if you want to post with proxies it is better to use good private proxies or scraped proxies from a purpose made proxy harvesting tool. Even using proxies from a tool like Proxy Goblin or Proxy Multiply will lower your overall links created if you do not have the list set to update very often, public proxies are notoriously unreliable and slow even when filtered.

I personally would choose to search with public or private proxies but to only ever post with private proxies or no proxies at all as it gives more links overall than public proxies for searching.

how does the new lindexed intergration work now? i notice when i press stop then it uploads all the pings. if i leave it running 24/7 will it upload the pings on its own or must i press stop every other day?

I would suggest giving option in NohandsSEO to send links to Lindexed when xx links are confirmed and letting the user set this number. This number can be 10-10,000 but note that low number means lots of campaigns showing in your account that makes it harder to track results.

As I'm not a user of lindexed I am not overly familiar with how the whole system works so I simply implemented it as per the documentation and then was requested by lindexed support to change it to a different method. I think for now I will leave it as is and then next week see how their API is holding up and make any changes that may be needed then, I don't fancy jumping in feet first again only to have them turn their API off and request more changes.

So right now it wont ever send to Lindexed unless I stop all my copies of No Hands? I never stop them, and have way to much going on to spend time randomly stopping and starting software. Do it like GSA did and make it send them up every time it reaches 50 or something, that would be perfect.

I'm the owner of Lindexed so you can trust what I'm suggesting. Make it send a call to the api every 50 verified urls. Will work good for clients and me as well. You can also give the client the choice to set the threshold between 50 and 10k and make clients even happier.

Jimbo,

I have to be honest that so Far I've found "NO HANDS" to be nothing but requiring constant babysitting! This program doesn't seem to run for more than 24 hour before it locks up and stops running?

Do you have any suggestions? Ideally, I would like to to run all the time as advertised ("NO HANDS"). Is there a way to have NHSEO stop for the computer to reboot every so often. It seems you have a memory leak or some other malfunction that keeps it from running endlessly!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Currently that is how it is yes, it will store up the URLs and then post them whenever it is stopped. I will add in an option to do it every X links per profile and at every stop for the next update.

How much memory do you have and are you running any sort of AV or firewall software? If you could give some idea as to how many profiles you have, how many threads and any other settings that are not default that may help to find any issue. What actually happens when it locks up and does it come after a particular action in the app or other apps?

Basically it shouldn't need any babysitting at all, running for days on end is not uncommon at all.

I'm running a VPS that I have stripped down to the bare bones. Only runs about 30 processes and it is locked down tighter than a gnat's arse so I don't need to run antivirus. It is has 512Mg of memory and I can run ScrapeBox for a week no problem!

FYI, here is a post I made about how I setup my VPS servers so lean
http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...003-vs-windows-server-2008-a.html#post3095473

As for profiles, I only have a single profile with like maybe 5 urls. Nothing major.

You will ideally need 1Gb of Ram for NHSEO as it does a lot more when running than tools that simply repeat a single task over and over. NHSEO does not act like this as it has to mix searching with posting with checking for duplicates (and duplicate domains if set so), checking for links, checking PR etc etc etc so there is a lot of logic being done in every thread. The more threads you run the more memory it will use and if you have limits set for bad words, domains, PR, OBL.

NHSEO also connects to a local sqlite DB so there is a memory cost involved whenever saving/retrieving results from the DB which prevents ever posting the same profile to the same target (or domain if the option is chosen) which no other tool does that I am aware of.

Is you software support Arabic language of just English ?

The app is only in English but it should support any language supported by windows for use in the anchor texts and comments. I know of at least one user that promotes arabic websites with NHSEO.
