Hey Jim,

I think I've found a bug in .27 - it seems to stop running when it posts this in the log:
Code:
3/12/2012 1:34 PM | Switching to Proxy Harvester mode

Experienced it twice so far now.

Hm, seems like now I can no longer open NHSEO after I tried to restart it after experiencing the above problem:

I clicked the stop button and after the start button turned green again I clicked to close the program. It entered "not responding" mode and I decided to force it to exit. Now, after logging out of my account and logging back in I still cannot open it - the process appears to be running in task manager but no window/tray icon is displaying.

Maybe it has something to do with the database not properly saving?

70 links from 2000 posts really isn't that bad for just auto-approve links. If you want to increase your acceptance rate (both auto and moderated) you can enter custom comments for each of your profiles, use private proxies and use it in conjunction with Captcha Sniper.

Using well thought out spun and niche relevant comments for each of your comments will make your comments look more natural and be less traceable, this will increase the amount of comments accepted on moderated blogs and less will get caught by the various spam filters out there.

Using private proxies for searching will remove the need for the proxy harvester which will allow more time for posting, make searches finish quicker and return more targets all of these things will mean that you will be able to post many times the amount of comments/trackbacks in the same amount of time. Private proxies for posting will mean a better approval rate but can slow down posting slightly, it is also good for hiding your identity when posting, proxies are definitely not needed for good success though.

Captcha Sniper is a third party tool that is supported by NHSEO and will allow you to post on blogs that require a captcha, these tend to be easier to get a comment on.

The full version allows for upto 150 posting threads where the trial is limited to 15. Ultimately though it is important to note that even though the default settings are fine for getting backlinks with a bit of tinkering it can really be ramped up to get a higher success rate.
.

Thanks very much for such a detailed and honest response. I really appreciate that and will take everything you said into more careful consideration! :)

I'm not sure what is happening with it loading, I am assuming it is just taking a lil longer than usual. It can sometimes take a lil longer than usual if the login server is bogged down, if it persists just send me your TeamViewer details and I'll log in and have a look.

As for the proxy harvester issue it is just because you will have threads that are still searching, searching can take some time to finish before the proxy harvesting will begin so you need to be patient. When using public proxies to search each search can take upto 30s, with 10 pages per keyword per platform per type of search (exact, broad match or both), per domain. If you have no domains set in your profile specific settings and both broad and exact matches enabled a blog comment search can take upto 70 minutes if each search takes the max time.

Obviously the searches usually return much much faster and not all pages of searches will have results so it will normally take upto 15mins as a max but still it is some time and if you are sat watching the log it could seem like it has stopped when it is actually working away.

No probs.

Hm, I've waited 5 minutes already and a window still isn't appearing. The splash screen does appear though. Do you want me to send over my TeamViewer details?

It was stalling for several hours before I noticed. :p

Yeah send me your TeamViewer details though if it is preventing you from logging in it is almost definitely another program that is preventing access to the NHSEO database, it could be an Anti-Virus or firewall or something similar. This could also cause your stalling, there is no reason in the code that it would freeze for hours or take more than a minute or so to load the app, only outside interference has been causing this.

is No Hands SEO safe to use for micro niche sites?..

Yeah, NHSEO can be used on any website or webpage.

Can someone explain a little where to get private or paid private proxies?

You can get proxies from loads of places online, I think there are some private proxies vendors in the BST section here.

My choices would be Squid Proxies (pretty cheap and good for searching) or buyproxies.org (slightly more expensive but no connection limit so can be used for posting also).

do u think this will be more effective than manual SEO?? If then Why its is not as much as familiar than SEO concern?? Why others are looking for best SEO concern to optimize their website????

Hey Jim (is that right?),

I think I'm running into the confirmed links not increasing problem again...
I've been running NHSEO for the past week (and have restarted it) with several profiles and the confirmed link seems to be stuck for each at around 400-700. Is it a problem with not having enough keywords? Each profile has around 10 keywords and has posted 50k-70k comments.
Same here :?

I recently bought this software. When I press play and check out the log, I find a blog that I've successfully commented according to the log, however when i go to the site my comment isn't there. What am I doing wrong? I'm not using proxies. could that be it? I'm actually using a youtube video as a a profile to get back links for that. is this possible? help is needed!

is this will ban by google?sorry,I am new for this.

No.

If you think that it is stalling then go to the settings=>More App Settings and then hit the debug button and copy/paste the log into a PM or setup TeamViewer and send me the login details.

I haven't found or had any bug reported relating to any part of the posting process in almost a month now.

Why do I not see my link when I check a post?
Not all posts will be accepted and result in a link. When No Hands SEO runs it will do all of the link checking for you automatically and ping the page if your link is found. If you are looking at the unconfirmed links or the posted links you are not looking at the confirmed links. If you want to see what links have been confirmed output the confirmed list by right-clicking on your profile(s).

Hi Jim,

How often would you recommend using the check links 'ping' only feature on all confirmed links? Also I tried only using the 'ping' feature the other day and after it had finished and I looked at the confirmed links it went back to 0. To regain my confirmed links I did what you previously recommended which was to uncheck use proxies, restart NHSEO and run a check links 'check' on all unconfirmed links. Should I uncheck 'use proxies' when wanting to only ping confirmed links?

Thanks

Captcha sniper stops solving caps after 10 minutes or so on my win vps. There is no message or anything, CS will just sit there and does not display any incoming caps. Checking in nhseo settings will produce an error about port 80.. however nothing else is running. I have 16 and 30 ticked.. i have to restart CS to make it start solving again.. and then it takes again 10-20 minutes before it stops..

anybody else had the same issues with CS when running with nhseo? what helped?
