I first intalled the trial and then bought the full thing. How do I now I have the full version installed now? Cause it seems it kept the information I entered into the trail version, even after I uninstalled the trail. ?? Because the full version should give me more threads right?

Also, could you give an answer to why virustotal found this for the trail version: Jiangmin 13.0.900 2011.10.17 Backdoor/Bifrose.ccu

The full version will have the word Installed or Portable in the header instead of trial, also in the "More App Settings" tab within the "Settings" tab you will be able to change the number of threads to any number. You do not need to enter in email / pass for the trial version either.

Ignore the false positive from Jiangmin as it is just that, a false positive.

So far this tool does exactly what it says it will do. although sometimes it might be a little buggy, I would still purchase it RIGHT NOW. The dude who creates it responds to every complaint quickly and takes care of all his customers. I'm pretty excited to see where the development goes and if any features are added / improved.

But as it sits today, totally worth the cash.

Totally agree. Fantastic tool and does just what it says on the tin. Looking forward to see where the devs take it!

I absolutely love this tool. I've left it running since I bought it a couple of days ago. It took me seconds to set up 5 profiles and I've not touched the program since.

An excellent tool and highly recommended.

It is fully supported and even encouraged to use the tool this way. You can either let the tool search for your pages or just add them yourself and then set the different anchor texts for each page through the same profile.

Jimbo, can you tell me how to assign one keyword to one URL? Or multiple keywords to one URL?

Also, i am running for the past 24 hours but am only seeing 1 confirmed link each for 3 profiles. This doesn't look normal. Could it be just bad luck?

Ye, that's my only concern right now too. I let it run for hours, but I didn't find many confirmed links with the link checker. Don't know if that will change significally later on, but I hope others can comment on how many links this tool can make within resonable time.

I have a possible suggestion for the OP.

So I have a auto blog, doing a couple posts a day. the unique part of this auto blog is, i have a list of about 80,000 keywords. And everyday it takes one of those, and generates content, optimizing the page and what not. Would it be possible for me to input a website, have the tool scan the pages ( which it seems like it does ) pickup the keyword from the page, and then search / build links to that keyword for that page? Like it would look at the meta keyword tag to get the keyword.

Yeah it SOUNDS crazy i know, I know.

But it would be great for sites that automatically generate content.

You can set anchor texts per URL through the profile handler "Pages" tab, it supports spintax.

If you have been running for 24 hours and only have 1 confirmed link I would think that you either have high OBL / PR limits or are using bad proxies. Do you use any proxies, have very long anchor texts or have any of the other settings on. Are you going by the confirmed links numbers or using the Link Checker separately?

If you are using the Link Checker you are probably just checking the unconfirmed links, this is for checking blogs that have moderated and accepted your comments, you should see a much higher number of auto-approve comments and trackbacks in your confirmed list. Check the number in the confirmed links column in your profiles list for an easy way of keeping track of how many links you have gained.

That is a solid suggestion but would involve a large rewrite to the tool to accomplish. I'm sure some others would find this useful but is kind of out of the scope of No Hands SEO right now. Thanks for the suggestion though, maybe it will appear in a future version.

How does the recrawling of webpages work when the profile is active? It currently has two pages now and I just added 2 more pages on my site but when I recrawl it, it can't find it. Does it recrawl the actual site or just look at search engine for what's indexed?

Good point

It should recrawl the pages. You can do this by going to the Profile Handler and highlight current pages and set as not crawled, this has the same effect.

Do i do something like this:

http://www.domain.tld|Keyword

I do not have any PR or OBL limits. I use private proxies. I go by confirmed links.

Just a suggestion, why not use sitemaps to crawl your own sites? that way no additional pages or redirect pages will be included?

It sounds like you are either in a very competitive niche or your anchor texts are too broad. If you read around in the main forum or even ask around Im sure some people will be able to help.

To set anchor text per page you need to be looking in the profile handler "Pages" tab. There at the top you will see a big box for entering anchor text, then all you need to do is highlight the page you want to set your anchor text for and click Attach. This will set the anchor text separately for that page(s).

can i know the minimum spec to run the apps ?

I would say 1Gb of ram but it is very dependant on how you want to run it, if you want to run lots of profiles and lots of threads I would suggest over 1Gb Ram and a dual core processor with Vista or Win7. For low usage you should be able to run with 1Gb Ram with windows XP fine. Get the trial and give it a go is your best bet.

Just a suggestion, why not use sitemaps to crawl your own sites? that way no additional pages or redirect pages will be included?

Not every website has a sitemap, not everyone has their sitemap in the same format or filename etc. Loading pages from sitemap is a feature that is going to be added at some point.

I am running the trial version 1.5.2.0 with normal settings. Yesterday I had in the range of 90 - 200 confirmed links for each of my 5 profiles. Today I did a link check for the confirmed links and ended up with an average of 25 confirmed links for each. Is that a bug? All 3 posting methods have submitted over 400 links for each profile so 25 confirmed links would be pretty low.

well if you look at my stats

posted 8940 comments posted 6626 trackbacks - confirmed links 240

posted 9691 comments posted 9933 trackbacks - confirmed links 141

you are going through alot of sites that are not auto-approve - and let's be honest WP has been spammed to death - so the fact you get a low % is probably not unexpected right ?

but the deal is - just let the thing run and do it's thing - and at least your getting something.

No that is not normal though it is possible some of the blog owners have removed some of your links, at the end of the day they have full control. I would be very surprised if this were the case.

If you have only posted 400 links for a profile and you have 20 live links that is nothing to be sniffed at. Also you are running an old version of the trial, if you were using the new version you could be doing 400 posts in half an hour.

However if you have 400 whois posts as well as 400 comment and trackback posts and only have 25 links there is something wrong with your setting, i.e. proxies or something else that is causing wrong results for you. 400 whois links alone will result in over 25 links and these are not subject to acceptance / moderation so if you have only 25 links something is not right with your settings.

Try upgrading to the new version.

The idea of this tool is very good, but I also had a very poor % of confirmed links due to blogs moderation, and for this result I dont think I am ready to slow down my pc to let it run all day long.

But if I had a 2nd pc I think I could have installed this tool on it.
