is nt there a way to delete a project/profile? i made a mistake in the URL and now i just cant seem to remove it.

edit: found out how to. thanks

I ran this for the first time today and I'm not sure how it went.

When I click on "check links" it is only showing one URL?

Here is a pic of the results after running for a few hours. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?

If I have a few thousand social bookmarks I want to backlink, is there way for me to copy and past them into one profile so that it rotates posting to each link, instead of creating one profile per bookmark?

For other users' reference there is a right click menu on the profile list that is only accessible when posting is not in process that has lots of options like remove profile.

I am guessing you are using public proxies by looking at that. It could also be quite aggressive OBL and PR limits but that shouldn't affect the whois posting. If you are using public proxies just stop using them and the tool will begin to work properly, you also may want to just remove that profile and add it again so it can start posting properly from the beginning.

Yeah you can enter as many pages as you like into a single profile using the "Add Multiple Pages to a Single Profile" control in the "Add Profiles" tab. Just enter one address per line.

Hi Jimbo, just a few questions if you don't mind.

1. This only works with private proxies right? (from the post above mine you seem to say that public proxies won't work with this)
2. Is the program restricted by language? Like if I had a spanish website would it target spanish keywords and post spanish comments? How would that work?
3. What would be the recommended usage if I don't want to backlink directly to the money site? What do you recommend using instead? (the one I want to work on got banned by akismet so my comments on wordpress don't show up)
4. What's the minimum amount of links this program can build in let's say an hour at the minimum settings? Or can we set a target? (let's say I want it to just build 100 links and then automatically turn off or something)
5. When is version 1.6 going to be released? (thinking of waiting for that to start a trial)

I don't mind answering your questions:
1) Public proxies work just fine, the problem is with public proxies they are very unreliable and often only last minutes or an hour which is not ideal for long term automation. Public proxies can also be slow. You can use No Hands SEO with no proxies just fine, I have had good results with 5-10 profiles running without proxies.

2) It is not restricted by language and if you enter in non-english keywords for searching it should find blogs in that language, however this cannot be guaranteed as search engines control their listings so if they think it is relevant to your keyword it will be given. Also as the tool scrapes search engine suggestions to carry on its searching it is possible words in different languages could show up because again it is dependant on the search engine giving the results. The tool is UTF8 compatible so it shouldn't struggle with any language.

3) You should find a good number of results direct from blogs even when banned by akismet, the majority of blogs don't have akismet installed and most auto-approve blogs do not have a spam filter either so it shouldn't have a big impact. However if you wish to not drive links directly at your money site you could post your website to third party websites such as bookmarking sites, article submissions or web2.0 properties and then run these through NHSEO. This will get the links indexed pass on some link juice at the same time.

4) Right now you cannot set a target this will be implemented in v1.6.x. Currently without checking enabled NHSEO should be able to post upto 1000 links an hour (depending on connection, computer and setup) with an expected success rate of anywhere from 0.5%-5%. Some people have been able to get their success rate using custom comments files, private proxies and a good understanding of search keywords, a lot comes down to practicing to find what works best for your needs.

In v1.6 you will be able to set the number of threads that run at any one time instead of each profile running in its own thread, so you could have 20 threads running at the same time for even a single profile if you wish. Obviously if you had a better connection you could run many more threads than 20.

5) I was hoping to get v1.6 out this week but it is looking like it will be Wednesday or Thursday of next week, possibly I will release an optional test version for purchasers but the final version and trial will most likely be updated next week. By all means wait for the release of v1.6 it is going to be a huge improvement for speed and efficiency.

Hi Jimbo, I was thinking about waiting for v1.6 but couldn't wait to test out the trial.

I've just run the software for around 2 hours and have a few questions and comments I want to see if you have input on.

I have about 10 profiles running right now, and each profile has about 300 comments and 300 trackbacks posted. Half of the profiles have 0 confirmed links, 4 have 1 confirmed link and 1 has 2 confirmed links, which gives it ~0% to ~0.2% success rate.

I'm using 10 private proxies, and I left the PR and OBL at 0.

My initial guess was that it was my keywords that had an issue. But after thinking about it for a bit, if we don't change the default comments posted, we are just basically posting on a lot of blogs and filtering out some that are AutoApprove and hoping that some blogs may approve the comments in the future ... is that right?

At this rate, if I have 2000 links I want backlinks to and I'm getting ~10 successful comments / hour ... it will take roughly 25 hours to get 1 backlink to each of the 2000 links.

Now I see why some other users in this thread mentioned they let it run for 2 weeks non stop!

Hi Jim, congratz for your BST. Although I prefer no more people get their hands on NHS :D.

Little facts: Bought Jim's tool around 6 days ago and been running all the time, 5 days straight on my VPS (CPU 1.5GHZ, Mem 1GB) behind VPS. Currently it running 4 profiles (3 direct hit to money site, 1 is consist of 38 tier 2 web2.0).

  1. The 1st profile I added, is a 2 months blog of 30 pages. 5 days ago it had 31 backlinks and only main rank at #350+ for its main keyword. Today, when I checked via SeScout, it has a whooping 831 backlinks! And its main KW jump to #122, followed by 2 more KWs in #207 & #204! I know its something to be proud of yet. But hey, for less than 5 minutes work and nothing after it, I'm pretty happy with the current progress.
  2. The 2nd profile is a unmanaged 1 year old autoblog with 2000+ pages. It jumped to #150 from out of nowhere for its main keyword on the 3rd day of campaign. Today, it's being kicked out again from 1000 rank. But, I believe it will come out even stronger as more pages get more backlinks.
I'm planning to keep pummeling this two site with NHS only for the next 3 weeks. Let's see happen then.

Bandwidth issue: I thought this baby will eat up my bandwidth fast (my VPS come with only 1TB BW). But, after 5 days running all the time with 4 profiles, the bandwidth usage barely hit 30GB. If my system allow it, maybe I can add 5 more profiles.

The only department that I believe need improvement is the fact that NHS is rather resource hog. With 4 profiles running 24/7, the CPU usage keep increasing little by little. Right now its around 15-25% of CPU usage (yes, I know I'm on budget VPS. But, still). There was one time that the whole system just went freeze when I was trying to add 25k AA list to NHS. When I divide the list in to 3-5k list, NHS handled them just fine. I hope version 1.6 will address this issue well.

Bottom line: I'm happy with my purchase. NHS helps a lot on my over all backlinking campaign. Thanks Jim.

Your success rate is poor and your settings seem fine. All I can suggest is that you look at your keywords, it is possible they are very generic and are pulling up a lot of highly moderated blogs which will never auto-approved a comment or trackback.

Are you sure you are not looking at the results in the link checker for "Unconfirmed Links"? Some users have made this mistake of looking at the uncomfirmed links list in the link checker instead of checking the confirmed links.

Also 300 comments / trackbacks is a very small sample size, especially when keywords tend to improve in performance as the tool extends the keyword list, these extended keywords tend to work better for some people that are unsure of how search keywords can impact the success rate of comments /trackbacks.

The reason people leave it running non-stop is because it works and works without any effort, Im sure if you were to leave it running for more time you will see this as well.

Thanks for that. The reason the system appears to freeze when adding large lists of AA targets is because it compares each item against each item in the profile(s) you are adding them to, it isnt actually frozen it is just working away. This will be fixed in v1.6.x. as all targets and profiles will be handled differently, also it should fix the high system usage.

I am expecting v1.6 to launch next week.

Jimbo,

I bought this 2 days ago, and I have to say this is exactly what I have been looking for. So easy, even I can do it.

One issue though. I thought I read on another thread that I could use this on 2 computers. I have it running on my desktop, but when I try to install to my laptop, I get the message:

Could not find No Hands SEO.exe file
Maybe the updater is not in the No Hands SEO folder. To run the Updater, this file must be in the NO Hands SEO installation folder.

I tried deleting and reinstalling, but I get the same message.

Thanks

When scanning my own site does it obey whats in my robots.txt file, as I have loads of redirect pages that I don't want submitting to blogs/trackbacks

Check that the firewall is not blocking it, the error is actually normally more to do with internet connection rather than lack of being able to find the file as the error text would suggest.

It could also be that the user doesn't have access to the files in the folder it is running in. To check this you can try going to the folder and choosing to run the "No Hands SEO.exe" (not the loader) file as administrator and seeing if it runs. If it runs fine then it is a permissions issue and you should move it to a folder wher eyou have access, such as the deafult install folder, e.g. "C:\No Hands SEO\"

When scanning my own site does it obey whats in my robots.txt file, as I have loads of redirect pages that I don't want submitting to blogs/trackbacks

It currently does not, you can set a list of things to search for in the URLs of your website and if one of the pieces of text is found in the URL it will not crawl it. For example if you wanted to prevent crawling of any page in an admin section of a website that resided in a folder named "admin" you could add "/admin/" without quotes to prevent crawling of all of those pages.

I heard that Akismet will block every domain that send more than 100 comments in 30 min.
Does Nhseo have any mechanism to get around this?

As the majority of blogs don't have akismet installed and that virtually no auto-approve blogs have akismet installed it is not an issue if you do get banned by akismet for using the tool.

The way No Hands SEO limits the damage done by possible akismet blocking is by allowing the use proxies, randomises email address, randomises comment and posts different pages rather than the same one repeatedly. All of these will help to prevent akismet banning but it is not possible to stop it from happening entirely, the fact is even if you do get banned you should still see links pouring in from all of the auto-approve blogs out there.

@Jimbobo

how do you go about getting a trial for the software ?

thanks

Are you using the most upto version? There was a full version released on Sunday that mistakenly still had the trial label, this is just a label and does not effect how the tool runs at all.

Does the program focus exclusively on AA blogs?

We have a niche specific comment database that is designed for high quality NonAA blogs in our niche and we expect high approval rates. Can we set the program to target NonAA blogs?

No it just targets all blogs related to the keywords you enter.

Just downloaded the trial after reading the reviews.

I am in my office right now which has LIGHTENING FAST internet. Using 30 private premium proxies. I started it like half an hour ago and so far I have"
