Umm if you look at the sales blurb on the front page of this sales thread you will clearly see "Launch day is tentatively September 1st 2011 at which time we will blow you away with our low low price.".
Tentatively means just that, maybe they will and maybe they won't.
Not to mention the time on the east cost of the US is only 3.48 AM, though I have no idea of what country the authors are in and since they didn't say what timezone I think it's a tiny bit premature to start slinging muck at them for that reason, duh.

A massive counter on the frontpage in your face which is counting the hours down untill release, and then there "might possibly" be a release...
Counter hits 0, site is not updated at all.
Doesn't look to impressive.
I want to quickly tell you a little story. Recently a game was to be released called Jurassic Park The Game from TelltaleGames. It was to be an AMAZING game, and Jurassic Park The Game had a pre-launch party of 1 year. They promised to release and 1 week into their launch they went silent. On launch day they put out a message that said, "We are sorry, but we want to live up to the Jurassic Park name and create a game that is one of the kind and epic! Please wait another 10 months." They even refunded all of the people who pre-purchased.
This is a true story.
Now, while we do not claim to be Jurassic Park The Game, we are trying to live up to a name as well. I think most will understand, that we want to give you something unbeatable... Something as close to perfect as possible. We want to live up to the name that is a Marketing Robot.
With this said, we will not make you wait for 10 months. We are asking for 5 days. 5 days to perfect certain minor aspects.
In those five days we will:
1.) Correct some website issues we have...
2.) Tweak the video uploader portion after a flurry of beta tests coming back with feedback...
3.) Attempt to implement a Manual Captcha Breaker for those wanting to input those things by hand, (this is by popular request of the beta testers.)
So September 5th at 12:00pm MST (lunch time,) we will launch. September 5th no exceptions.
We thank you for your patience during all of this. We do promise that the $10 off will be better (*cough much better*) than that for all who are on the list and sticking it out with us.

I am afraid sales thread is better than the actual tool. It looks broken, IE based and really unfinished...

Is this some kind of very poor marketing catch?

Not a marketing ploy whatsoever! We were really hoping to push it out by the 1st but why would we want to send out a version that can be better in only a few extra days?
It takes time to code everything and we have included a lot.
Video marketing Robot will probably be ready to go by Saturday the 3rd but we wanted to make sure we were happy and thus we gave ourselves a few more days. September 5th we WILL launch... all will rejoice
irate:irate:Also, all the current video footage is showing the beta version and I believe the version shown in the above video was version 1.5 or earlier (we are currently on Beta version 1.94)

i have to say, this is pretty ridiculous
i wait until the countdown ended last night to check the price of this program and a pop up comes up but no price
then i get an email from them saying that it is now launching september 5th
and, they cant even tell us the price yet haha
this software better be VERY cheap and EXTREMELY good for all the crap that is going on right now, thats all i have to say...

Hey, I am also disappointed waiting so long just to realize that I have to wait more but I really hope that it will worth waiting.
Till we wait could you please, answer few questions. I did not find information concerning this and an other place to ask my questions so I'll shoot in the thread. I really hope the questions will be useful for all.

2. I saw a build in browser. Is it possible to open more than one window to work simultaneously? If yes, how many (yes I know that it depends - just for example)
3. Video description - I did not saw such? If there is video description is it possible to use spin syntax
4. User spinning - is it possible to use spin syntax in the username. I really hope for that because otherwise it will be like a bull in a china store
5. Reporting - is there some other types of the reports. I mean .txt, csv, xls because the report in video is not very useful if I would like to show it to my customer. And even for myself I'll definitely need the url of the profiles and uploaded videos
Having in mind that you'll have a lot of work before launching, I really hope you'll find time answer my questions.
