Overall, I give this service good marks. I will use again.
Effectiveness: Inconclusive, Suggestive of Favorable Outcome
I placed the order for 50 plus ones for $15 and requested that they drip them over at least 5 days. I !@#$ed up the order by sending .com URL when it should have been .NET ... they caught the mistake late and contacted me to correct. Service was fast and professional. I will used them again as results were inconclusive, but interestingly seem to correlate with my site coming out of the sandbox, which has opened up some new ideas for experimentation.
10 of the plus ones were applied to the home page from the search engines. The rest were applied to the button on the home page. My next purchase will probably apply more to item detail pages specifically.
The plus ones do register as individual users according to webmaster tools. My biggest fear was that I was going to get 50 plus ones from 3 users. I'm glad to say that was not the case.
The negative effect on click through rate might have been a result of how the 10 applied via the search results were executed, but there is not any way to prove that with out a lot more experimentation. I do have several things in motion and one of my other build outs could be responsible for the -CTR. If you are nervous, then I would suggest that you request that none be applied via the SERPs. But honestly... this might not have anything to with this service and it's execution.
Clicks are low because the site is brand new and the service only finished a couple days ago... if time is a factor then the results may change... If they do I will post an updated review.
