It's because of site reputation. d3t0x has bought up domains with high PageRank (PR) and turned them into blogs. The best links come from the home page, because that's where most of the link juice is. Because they are blogs with high site reputation (due to the high PR), which in turn comes from the large existing supply of backlinks the domain had before he purchased it, as each new article appears on the home page (until it scrolls off), and since it's a high PR site producing new articles, these articles get spidered and indexed daily or almost daily.

The content keeps increasing with every new article, which adds more to the overall PR of the site, helping offset the outward flow of PR through the links and helping to keep the site's content fresh. The old backlinks will tend to fall off over time (because the pages they link to no longer exist...they're from when the domain was used for its prior purpose), but the new content helps offset that loss of old backlinks.

So the net result is that the search engines are giving those blog entries (articles) a lot of link reputation. That link reputation ends up getting transferred to the pages on your site to which the articles link. Voila! Rapid jump in the SERPs.
