I just got an account level 3 with top contributor status in one of the most competitive niche categories.
If you are good at posting, there should be no problem with keeping an account alive as I have a link in every answer I post and don't see any troubles arise as I learned the filter, how the system works and how to mass produce unique content that gets through the filter long enough for me to be able to vote it best answer.
The only thing left is to get some rest and overcome exhaustion and I am ready to go.
I haven't answered in awhile due to the stress of moving schools and finishing finals, but will continue to test and provide some more feedback.
Although I did answer over 30 questions since 2.0, I haven't really had much time or brain capacity because of a withdrawal and other unexpected circumstances.
Be sure to check and see if you have all the requirements to run the software and or wait for Rick to provide an additional bug fix.
Once 2.0 is stable it'll be a very good suite, but for now there will be a few bugs, in this case the account creator still has minor issues there are a few typos, some importing functions don't work properly and you have to restart it every time you do some bulk posting.
Rick is probably already aware of some of them and is probably busting his butt fixing them, i'll get some rest in the meantime.
The typo appears when you are in the process of answering a question, I don't know if it is still existing or was already fixed in 2.002.
Once those are fixed it should all be back to normal, but right now most of the functions work as intended so most work can be completed without any hassle.
A great thing about Yahoo Answers is that the pages get scraped by a number of auto blogs and forums.
Within a week of an answer being posted by a high level account there are over a dozen results of my answers and links included, so I don't really care if an answer gets removed, but that hasn't happened in a very long time so there's nothing wrong with that.
If you want some help turning a random Yahoo bot into an authority profile check out some of the bigger brands who do a very similar thing, your posts don't have to be as detailed, but they have to be good enough to look real and informative.
Some examples can be found at the knowledgeable partners page, but that wasn't there when I started so I have a system that is far easier and less time consuming, i'm talking about posting 3 answers a minute from start to finish.
There is an example source in one of the books Rick provides that is similar to what I include in every answer.
The only thing duplicate in my answer is my source, and there isn't any trouble coming out of it, only targeted traffic that converts.
The initial Yahoo link is no follow, but the sites that scrape it may have a do follow attribute your site can indirectly benefit from.
