AA 2.0 - Geared towards the more advanced users, high-end features, working on speed after the first 2 things are flawless, can't really say much more because 2.0 and all of its features aren't released but I have a rough idea of what things are going to be included as I have suggested a great deal of things to satisfy the needs of YA marketers.
AS - Simple, lightning fast, geared towards swiftness with less, but more specialized features, no installation required to run, supports all countries, can bypass a few limitations that Yahoo puts in place.
From what I have seen both have some sort of Captcha breaking capability.
If your computer is decent you shouldn't have to worry about things going slow as I can search and post very smoothly and quick on my machine I built 4 years ago.
If you are starting out on a slow, or somewhat dated machine then the speed may be of more interest to you.
Both have automatic, semi-automatic and manual features for those that want to go on posting rampages or contribute unique content for longevities sake.
It's ultimately the end users choice to decide what best reaches the needs of your business.
I personally don't use proxies, vpn services or anything and have no problems keeping my posts alive except for the one's reported by the community.
All I can say is, if you are having trouble deciding on which software to choose from, wait until 2.0 is released before you rush into a decision so a thorough comparison can be conducted before any regrets are made in the future.
There may be a price increase on either of the software packages in the coming months and I have no control of any of that as I am just a user, after reading through a few pages I saw somewhere the price for AA may or may not be increased for users who tag along after the release of 2.0 and since AS is a fresh release its current price may or may not be temporary.
I hope this isn't interpreted as a bias post and I tried my best to include features from both sides of the equation, if there is something I didn't include that you would like clarified or changed don't hesitate to reply.
PS: Please don't ask what I suggested and wait for Rick's announcements as I don't want to let anyone down if they aren't incorporated in the initial 2.0 or in any future release.
