ok - is there any reason why the software would not take input from my keyboard anymore? the most bizarre thing. It worked fine when I first started to use it today. I imported some accounts, did a search and manually answered a question. Then, I can't type anything in any of the boxes on ANY of the screens in there anymore.

I did re-start it. still nothing. I can move between all of the windows and click on buttons but it won't accept a single character that I type in. (I have Win 7 64 bit).

I had the same problem when doing a teamviewer with Rick.

You need to make sure your signed into an account i think or something , Cant remember exactly.

Hey, as I mentioned above, with the recent server switch some serial keys may have been lost and/or deactivated. No problem, I have reset your key. If you are running the latest version (1.0.9.7b) and are still getting that message, it is because your internet cache hasn't cleared yet (temporary internet files).

Delete browsing history (all) in Internet Explorer.
Open Start > Run > cmd > ipconfig /flushdns

(and if it still hasn't reset your modem/router (turn off/on).

This should update you to the correct settings and once you re-register all should be fine.

It might be because you have multiple instances of AnswerAssault.exe running in the background. Open up your task manager > processes and kill them all, and then try again.

Alternatively, if you have keywords entered into your Keyword Snoop, it will consistently check for new keywords as the program is running so it might slow some things down. It loads up on startup if you have keywords entered. So, instead go to keyword snoop > keywords and uncheck or delete the keywords you got there and then restart the application. All should be well, there are no known issues or bugs with that happening.

Whatever it is, I can always help you out via Teamviewer, it shouldn't take longer than 30 seconds to remedy.

We have yet to release the update, currently undergoing the final beta stages. Also, remember to use the debug window to see the process as it is running, you will be able to find out what's happening.

thanks guys - it was the kw snoop. I think the trouble started right after i loaded about 8-10 kw's in it yesterday.

I just deleted them all, re-started the software and it's fine now.



I am having an issue w/ it just running and think it maybe due to my having a proxy in IE? it's a U.S. private proxy but (no idea why), it's the only way that I can access this forum w/ my virus and malware software. thinking I may need to ditch the proxy to run AA though.

Indeed, any proxy settings entered into IE will slow things down. It might be good to remove them and then double check your results. Also, reset your Internet Explorer settings (tools > internet options > advanced > reset) to make things smoother.

rickstar for some reason It seems my license is lost ? I need to put my serial key again but after that it says you key is already in use. So i cant use it anymore at the moment

If you send me your license key, I will reset it for you. We moved servers so if you had uninstalled / updated in between that time, your license may have not be re-registered. Before uninstalling, it is important to de-register your key by hitting the 'Port A License' button.

Question - How do I get my answers to appear in google search? They are appearing in yahoo/bing just fine but i've created about 20 questions a few days ago, pinged them, backlinked them and they still are not listed in google. Do you have a surefire way that will get these links indexed?

Are you saying that none of them are even indexed in Google or just not ranking highly enough? That's a little strange as I have added a couple dozen questions today. Check on a different version of Google, if you are using a local version they might not appear yet. Typically, I focus on Google US.

Well at first they weren't ranking in google at all, not even in the top 1000. But today that all changed as 60% of them are now indexed by google. I guess it just takes a few days.

Is attempting to build a house email list using this tool a feasable idea?

I run a health & fitness blog and thought that I might be able to use this tool in the following manner:

1) Write seven blog posts in reference to reducing cholesterol naturally.
2) Put together a spyntax answer that could answer most any question that is in the vein of reducing cholesterol and would rotate through the seven different URLs.
3) Use the software daily and focus it in on questions regarding cholesterol reduction.
4) Have the blog built in such a way that there is a free report offered in exchange for email address. (Maybe something entitled: The Cholesterol Reduction Secret They Don't Want You To Know About)
5) Once email address is in hand, use the list to continually market to them, even if it's as simple as getting them back to your newest health/fitness blog post which happens to have an Adsense Ad block on it.

Can you tell me what you think of this idea? It seems solid, but it also seems like there would be very little traffic from each question answered and since only a fraction of the people who click through will sign up for the email list, it might be an idea which is good in theory but doesn't really translate into many email sign-ups.

In any case, please tell me what you think of this approach, whether you deem it likely for success or not.
