Is it just me or the questions that I posted on my own accounts, the URL doesn't show up on the list so I can answer it myself?

Also, if there is any way to import a list of exported links into the answering section would be sweet as well.

@Albert

Which version are you running? Version 1.0.2.0 I can confirm has it working correctly.

You need to change the account away from the one you posted your own question from, since you can't post a question and then answer the question with the same account.

In regards to importing the links, there is no way to import only links right now, but you can import them in the form of an answer.

For example:

link, link, link, link:source
link, link, link, link:source

and so forth.

Try that and let me know how it goes :)

Thanks!

After installed the software, i tried to run the software and i got this:

Code:
Install:
i.min.us/iyZNC.jpg
Downloading:
i.min.us/itQis.jpg
Error:
i.min.us/itOak.jpg

Sorry, cannot post img at my level. Copy and paste it into your address bar.

Any help ? :/ I cannot even get to the part where i can insert my key.

I have responded to your issue via email, and sent you an installation free version. It might be because your installation of Visual Studio and Clickonce conflicts with the download. No biggie ;)

EDIT: Issue resolved.

Hey,

Look like the problem was with my computer ~ it works on another PC.

Anyway, thanks for your support ~

Everything looks very promising and good but is there anyone making any money with this software?

@drakemetal

No problem, glad I could help you out.

@murad12s

We are constantly working on improving speed, although from tests conducted across the board questions should be retrieved in less than a minute (usually 30-50 seconds) and posting should not lag far behind.

If you are using a proxy/VPN that will naturally slow the service down or perhaps due to your geographical location. If you continue to experience issues with processes taking longer than otherwise expected, let me know.

With that being said, we are working on making some functions even more multi-threaded

Thanks!

@spuunman

Thanks for the review! Those are rather interesting results however, the speed of answering that you mentioned is definitely a rare case, since on average it takes only about a minute for it to answer a couple of questions. There may have been an account issue. Close the application and try again. Make sure you are also running the latest version (1.0.2.0).

In regards to voting as best answer, that label needs to be changed. It's actually 'select as best answer' which means you need to use the account that asked the question to choose the best answer (once that option becomes available in Yahoo). Typically, after a few other questions have come in and some more time has passed. Admittedly, we are working on making this a little smoother/more understandable for users.

Also, if you are rotating your accounts make sure you are not being redirected away from the US Answers website, to somewhere like the UK. (Check your IP or use a different IP).

I think it's best I take a look at the system via Teamviewer, and perhaps send you another version tailored specifically for your computer.

All feedback has been taken into account though and development has started. In the meantime, I'll make a couple of new videos to describe the process in more detail.

Cheers,
Rick

No problem, glad I could help! Shoot me a message if you have any other problems.

Hello,

I was playing around with the software and everything was fine until the proxy part. When i tried to import a list of proxies, i get this error message:

Code:
i.min.us/icAPZw.jpg

Here is what leads to the above error popup: at first, when i imported a list of proxies, everything was fine, all the proxies appeared in the manager. Then i noticed that there are a few proxies that i forgot to add, so i deleted all the proxies in the manager and updated the proxy .txt with more proxies. Then i imported the proxies list again and this time i was hit with that error.

Edit: and if i choose to disable/enable the proxies in this state, another bigger error popup would appear:

Code:
i.min.us/icFGzM.jpg

And if i close the popup, AnswerAssault would crash:

Code:
i.min.us/icAFqW.jpg

Would you please check to see if you can re-produce the same problem? Or if you would help me with solving this issue?

Best regards,

Please take a look at our FAQ, you may have placed the proxies in a incorrect format. It may also be because you don't have the SQL server compact installed. If you restart the application and try again, you should be fine.

If not, let me know and I'll take a look at the way you're importing to ensure that everything is correct. If you shoot me an email or contact me via live chat, that would help me get back to you quicker.

Thanks very much for your help.

One thing I always struggle with is proxys.

Would it be possible to make it so if a proxy fails it will disable?

@nick-harper

Yes, that is on the list to be added shortly. A checkbox will be present called 'Remove Failed Proxies', when checked non-responsiveness proxies will be removed from your list. Typically, a VPN is easier to use and more cost effective than singular proxies but it's all good.

New update releasing soon!

Another thing I noticed. I am posting comments and have 1 account selected in the drop down but it is using the other account to post them.

Another few things:

  • Displaying passwords for accounts
  • Displaying level and points from accounts
If creating accounts, I can't see a way to see when they reach level 2

@nick-harper

Do you have rotate accounts checked when trying to post? Take a look at our tutorial videos and usage guide.

Displaying points per account should be added in the next update.

No problem, I will need to take a look at it via Teamviewer to get a better idea of what is going on, probably a small setting that you forgot about. I'll catch you via live chat or PM/email.

Edit: Sorted.

No problem Nick!

You should find your issue to be resolved and to everybody else who are experiencing sub-par speeds your anti-virus may be interfering. Either add AA to your exclusions list or temporarily disable your anti-virus. Additionally, remember to not have the Yahoo Answers website running in the background.
