If I buy ZP 3 (given I have no knowledge of programming anything, ever) and spend some money buying templates for all sorts of link building, will I be able to just start it up and go to town easily from there or will it need more continuous work from there?

We developed ZP3 such way to make it understandable for users with zero programming skills, for Internet marketers, online moneymakers, web developers, so it doesn't require programming skills. You can spend some money on templates and it will work for you on auto-pilot, you could also spend some time on learning and maintain it by yourself, but it is also possible to outsource.

It is only possible to use ref code when you make a new purchase of ZennoPoster.

ZennoPoster cannot be installed on virtual machines! The few exceptions are Virtual box and VPS based on Xen technology
Your computer must feature the following characteristics:
Internet Explorer 7 or upgrades
.Net Framework, version not older than 3.5
RAM - at least 512Mb
Processor - at least 1.5 GHz

If you want to really run zenno with all the power it has, get a dedi, otherwise pick up any decent windows VPS from the BST section

I used to run it on hostamus but have moved to a dedi now.

Some actions on AJAX forms may be not recorded, but you can always record it by using Pro Branch Builder.
