There are some terms about it:
1. Main application ZennoPoster.exe can be run only on one machine simultaneously.
2. Lite version can be installed on one PC, Standard - on 2, Pro -on 3.
3. CapMonster, ProjectMaker, CodeCreator can be run simultaneously on all machines where they were installed.
Additional license of ProjectMaker costs $10.
4. If you want to move ZennoPoster on another PC you should remove current hardware in user area and install on the another one. Please keep in mind that you can delete hardware only once per day.

i have my own list of 5 private proxies, would i be able to use my private proxies instead of the proxies found using proxychecker?
if so, would i be able to use this program to its full potential using the lite version and my private proxies?

You can use public,private proxy with ZennoPoster if they are socks4 or http. The main difference between all version is a speed and amount of work that can be done during some time. With Lite version you can do the same, but just not so fast as with Standard or Pro.
According to the current offer there are specials for Lite and Pro only.
Yes, ZennoPoster is Mac compatible, you can run it on parallels for instance or VirtualBox.

I'm using the pro version. This software is truly unique and one of a kind! It can automate nearly any web-related task. So far, I have used it for scraping, saving files, reading from files, and posting. It has saved me HOURS of work.
There is a learning curve, but you can learn everything within 2 weeks or less reading the official manual and/or watching the many training videos that are online. It's main feature is that everything can be "drag and dropped" and can even "record" your actions so that you can use those "recordings" or customize them to how you see fit. Additionally, for programmers there is the option to code instead of using the other features.

I only own one website. If I am building backlinks from many different web2.0 sites, but writing only a couple of posts on each.
Is ZP a good choice for this task or is it not (because building a template for each site takes a long time. As there are many sites, would the user in this case may actually save more time by just posting them all manually?)

ZennoPoster is for web automation only.
ZennoPoster can do a lot of different kinds of web automation. It is not only web 2.0 backlinking it is also account creation, scrapers, profile creators, posters, commenters, bookmarkers, etc. When you get basics of this software you can try doing universal flexible templates (like wordpress commenter).
Just learn the basics of programming, how a program works and you have a super big advantage already. learn if else logic, some regex (the basics at least) and you will have a whole new world right in front of your eyes with zenno.
I'm using zenno since a month, and it's the best tool I ever bought and people who say the price is "OK" or too high, or they consider buying only the lite version or standard are absolute fools!
This software will save you so much money in the long-run, it's the wrong situation to want to save some money. IMHO the price is WAY too low, WAAAY to low!
I also consider the fact that zenno does not offer an option to compile your bots, a plus! it is, because it keeps out the competition, I wouldn't want to see the effectiveness of zenno ruined by a bunch of people who don't want to learn coding but want to sell bots they build with Zenno.
I am happy that this option doesn't exist because that simply means all the templates I build for myself where no other tool for exist are super effective, and will stay for a good amount of time. I don't need a bunch of wannabe coders ruin that for me
If you want to do that buy ubot studio, and if you are serious about creating bots to help your own business buy the Ferrari of IM tools.
I own both, ubot and zenno, and ubot is an absolute joke compared to what you can realize with zenno.

Is Pro mainly for SEO service providers? Is Lite or Standard generally enough for promoting our own (single) website?
it is enough to promote a single website, but the pro version has unlimited threads and priority support.
And unlimited threads in my eyes is one of the most important factors, you can build an army of templates, schedule them and let them run daily, twice a day, weekly or whatever you need. So you will never run out of threads, and if you are too cheap to spend ONLY $347 (or now even only $247 until xmas) for a tool like this then I really ask myself what you people think how to make money online?
ever heard of investing to make money? Spend money to make money? It's like you own a pizza delivery but are to cheap to buy cars and let your delivery boys go by bicycle. ( The competition will kill you)

it's just that Zenno is really the first tool I bought where I haven't even encountered one single thing I couldn't do after using it hardcore for over one month now, it's the best thing that happened to me since I decided to become internet marketer.
