Yes it does actually


We were running some tests with a lot of canadian websites of legit companies, many of the sites were 1 month old and they got very good ranking improvements.
Some of the sites weren't in top 1000, and now they are top 10 or top 20!

The keywords we did the tests on were mostly local ones but some were keywords like :
dentist toronto
galerie art - 1 Linkpwn got a brand new site ranked in top 15(It fluctates between middle of First Page and Top of Page 2)
