Not really - the reason we presented different launch strategies is it allows ANYONE to launch a product without much (or any) initial outlay. Obviously if you have more experience/success you might find it easier, but there have been plenty of million dollar launches by people who probably made less than minimum wage online before their launch.

Everyone has something to give. You'll always know more about something than a group of others (hopefully buyers!) - at which stage you have a nice market. There's been some good discussion in the forums about ideas to get started etc.
