Is this software can beat ScrapeBoard? Just about to buy the ScrapeBoard but also want look for alternative software.

I never used it before, so I do not know how to compare. maybe some else can do it.

how does it work as far as the scheduler goes across multiple projects? do i need to open up each project every day to let the scheduler run for each, or do they all run at once? I'm a bit confused on how to set this up for autopilot.

yes, if you have multiple projects, then you will have to load them to run it.

if you want to run (and leave it), then just setup one project, register site1, confirm, add to scheduler, then fill in new information, register for site2, confirm, add to scheduler again, but use tag to label difference ....

this way, all submission uses a project and share a scheduler. you just need use "submit continuous".

there is a way, I think, but you will need manually copy/paste from these project files. I'll check and post back tonight.

we can not export/import scheduler. however, here is how to do it manually:


1) open the project file in wordpad (do not use notepad, since it will be slow).
2) find the first occurence of
<Scheduler Checked="..... LoginID="... />

then find the last occurence of
<Scheduler Checked="..... LoginID="... />

copy all the content (including the beginning and the end) and paste to another project file (which should also have the scheduler tags too).

before you do it, make copies of both files incase you messed them.

For instance if i have to handle 10 different websites and put them on schedule, when i receive the report, will i receive them all messed up ?

if you use submit "continuous", it will generate a clean list each time when it finished a loop. so, if multiple sites are in the scheduler, they will be in the same list.

in the coming update, users can choose to output the login for that site too.

Doesn`t sound good... I was planning to sell the service but if the reports get all in the same place i can`t manage schedule for clients.

Why don`t you implement something "smart" for reports on next update ? ^^

this software is not intended to be used for selling service. so, it does not have a strong report feature. the generated list is enough for general use.

will consider add the "smart" u mentioned, but I can not promise anything.
