Google and the rest of the search engines don't crawl and view all the links at once. While some would debate that you should wait till your website ages, I've never had a problem hitting a new site somewhat hard (Alpha Package).

Keep in mind that some new sites (with huge advertising budgets) receive hundreds of thousands of new links in the span of a few days after launching.
