Do people buy the private proxies and then label them shared and sell them to eight or ten people @ .50? Or does the shared distinction have to happen high up the food chain? If they do something like that is eight or ten people trashing them ... should it be four or five?

I do not fully understand what your question is.

As far as I can make it you are asking if I sell the proxies as private and then later mark them as shared and sell them to various people. Given what I have been hearing these days, this is a very legit question. I have heard a lot of experiences from a lot of guys and providers.
Let me reassure you that this is not what happens at my place. We segregate portions of our allocation as private or shared right at the beginning. So if a proxy has been sold as a private proxy, no one else will use them. That means it will be truly exclusive.

While we do have affiliates and resellers but we insist that this has to be disclosed to us. And if you place your order for private use then the proxies should not be shared with your friends.

30-80 Proxies - Packages are 10, 25, 50, 100, etc. I hope it wont be a big deal to round off your requirement to the nearest order quantity.

Change proxies 1 - 3 times a month - Not Possible. We can only change once a month that too after the renewal payment has been made. This is to avoid misuse. An alternative is to divide your order into 3 and place them strategically during the month. For eg. say, you wanted 100 proxies. Instead of placing one order for 100 you would place 3 orders (25 + 25 + 50) every 10 days. This would ensure that you can request a change thrice in a month (one per order).

All the sudden these so called Proxie Services can't offer a working private proxie in Phoenix Arizona that is not abused and rape free from the public. My web design company has relied on leads from craigslist and now my business and personal life has suffered. Does anyone know of any Private Proxie companies that are getting a new server in the Phoenix Arizona location in the future? Squid Proxies - Anonymous Proxies - have all failed me. Their common rebutal is that Craigslist has a Dynamic filter and they cannot guarantee that they work. However - in the past every time I got a new batch from a new Phoenix Arizona Server I never had any issues. Why do these companies misslead the public and cross their fingers the customer does not request refund with in 3 days or not even offer refund and keep reselling these abused proxies. Anyone have any success with this threads proxies posting in Phoenix Arizona? I see a lot of posts in the services - computer - section so someone is getting working proxies for Phoenix Arizona - Please Help.

if not, then use dynamic socks which change ports offten.

You are right, it is very difficult to get private proxies that have not yet been used for CL and hence not abused. Moreover it is much more difficult to get US IPs these days. That is why you have problems finding working proxies at the usual places.

clad has got it correct. But as far as I remember BHW does not allow discussions on CL but then clad seem to have nailed the bitch. There are many reasons why he is right but not all can be discussed here.

Thanks for explaining that for me. I assume you have used my rotating socks service in the past and hence recommend it. But please note discussing CL could be a problem here (mods can correct me if I am wrong).

That is a pertinent question. Let me try to explain.
The choice between private and shared proxies primarily depend on how many you need, how soon do you expect them to be blocked and what you intent to user them for.

The trade offs are pretty much what you can think of - speed, others spamming, whether you need heavy traffic or not.
Other things I can think of is the restrictions that proxy sellers put on shared IPs. Many sellers, including me wont change shared proxies once they start to work.

In my opinion the most important thing is who you share the proxies with. Say for example you shared the proxies with 5 people, all trying to use them on, say, a game server, it would be a huge turn down. No one will be able to do what they intended to. But if the usage was filtered then, given the rest of the things, they will be as good as private proxies (speed is a consideration). You would not be surprised to know that most providers dont filter usage. They wont even care to ask what you use the proxies for. No way anyone can filter usage without even asking. And I doubt anyone would get down to checking millions of lines to benefit customers. I get a lot of eyebrows when I ask - what will you use the proxies for? I hope now they would know why I ask. With shared proxies it is primarily your luck - if you chance upon a good group you are lucky, if not you are unlucky (this does not apply to me, since I do filter usage).

So a host of considerations for you to account for, and not many are under your control.

Another word of caution, while most private proxies are sold on the claim that they are truly private but not many are. I have had many users, coming to me just because they found someone else using their "truly private proxies".

If you need anymore details or help to decide whether you need private or shared, feel free to tell me what you will use the proxies for. And when you actually disclose the usage think in terms of who is the blocking authority. You may post on the thread or send a PM or any other way you prefer.
