Hey dude, sorry to hear your loss. I hope you don't take it too hard on yourself.

I did an order a week ago (Transaction ID #06B79638E6850580H). Please let me know via pm or emailing me back at the email that I sent you all the details from (@ryerson.ca)... if for some reason you're not in a condition to complete any order, you can just refund my payment and I'll get a different designer. Thanks :)

Dear Stealthpromo clients, I apologize for any delays in your orders the last few days. I had to travel out of town unexpectedly for the death of a close friend. I will have updates on your project first thing tomorrow for you

I have added you on aim. My aim is "arbslim" I want to see if you can replicate this text effect from this one website I found.

Hey man,
Haven't heard back from you regarding the project we were talking about...hit me up when you're available.

Thanks

Hey all, i have been wrapping up projects right and left and gone thru my pm box and responded to everyone. I will be completely caught up mid tomorrow, thanks again for everyones patience! I've also added a ticket system for new orders to ensure things get done on schedule. As i've mentioned before, anyone with a delayed project is getting a 15% discount thanks!

Hi there contacted you days ago about a flyer I need doing, you said you'd come online to discuss but you didnt. I appreciate you are busy so at least let me know that so I can look for somoene else. Dont leave me hanging there like. Not impressed need this design at the printers by tommmorow or the campaign goes under.

Wierd, i'm online now i dont see you as being online?

Alright, FYI that last Landing Page that you made for us converts very well for
the opt-ins that we were looking for. Thanks again.

Ok, so it's been a few weeks. I've been out of town a few times and it looks like
your business is going strong.

I'm going to need another Landing/Squeeze page done.

Do you have the same amount of time to spend now as you did before?

PM me when you see this. Thanks!

Hey man,
Please hit me up on aim or something about that design that we're doing.

Thanks

Where can I locate your up to date portfolio? Went to your site, only see headshots of women? Let me know, interested in hiring you long term.

Up to date portfolio @ http://stealthpromo.com/pricelist.pdf

I'm taking new orders for next week, atm I am truly fully booked :)
Adam

Adam is a great guy and one of the best designers I have worked with. I know you are slammed, but please hit me up with status on the project I sent you this week. Thanks.

My review:

StealthPromo's portfolio is impressive indeed, and the price is fantastic.

The reviews from clients at the beginning of this thread were impressive enough to cause me to overlook all the "hey man, I haven't heard from you" posts later on in the thread.

I happened to catch Adam on AIM 4 days ago and explained to him I had a rush project for a simple logo for a site I had planned on launching this weekend. I asked his turnaround time and was told "48-72 hours from payment (including revisions)" I immediately sent payment and a detailed run-down on my site and specs for the logo. I sent 25% more than the asking price, and explained I'd also pay 25% extra on the second half if the work was as good as everyone here claimed.

24 hours from payment - hadn't received confirmation of payment or specs, but wasn't too concerned. Saw him on AIM again, was told "I'm going to work on that tonight."

48 hours from payment - Still no word. I sent an email explaining that I had all my site content in place but needed the logo as an anchor to build the front end around, develop color scheme and branding, and acquire stock photography.

72 hours from payment - Still nothing. Silence. Sent another email explaining I was running out of time, it was past the timeline promised for completed project, and I hadn't received a one-sentence status report, much less a first draft to revise. Also expressed frustration at the fact that he didn't have time to contact a client he was behind schedule with but had time to drop by BHW and post a portfolio .pdf he had built.

80 hours from payment - Received an apologetic email including excuses and a draft that looked like it was whipped up in 10 minutes in response to my last message. Wanting to just get the deal done so I could move on, get my site up, and hire someone else down the road, I asked for a couple minor revisions and asked him to send final files so I could make any additional changes myself.

92 hours from payment (right now) - Nothing. Nada. I just sent an email cancelling the order, telling him to keep the down payment for his troubles but that I am not interested in receiving any additional work or paying the other half of the transaction.

Had I been told from the start "It'll be this weekend or maybe next week, I'm really swamped", I would have gone with one of the many other talented designers here for this project and maybe given Stealth some work on something less time-sensitive down the road.

My issue is simply that I made a decision based on a seemingly good reputation and a commitment to "48-72 hours (including revisions)"; and planned my site launch accordingly.

In summary - If you're looking for great work at an awesome price, it's probably worth hiring StealthPromo -- as long as you are under no time constraints. Additionally, I would advise doubling whatever time quote he presents and make your plans based on that.

StealthPromo is obviously undergoing some growing pains, and I hold no ill feelings. Still, I'm now behind schedule and felt an obligation to the BHW community to give an honest review of my experience.

My advice to potential clients is don't expect a speedy turnaround or great communication.

My advice to StealthPromo is to raise rates to filter out the lower-level projects while increasing income, and work on improving time management and communication skills.

I hope this was a learning experience for all parties involved.

Best regards to all,

~PF

i am looking for a logo and a 6 page website ... pm if you can do it ... thanks!

My experience has been similar to plasmaflux. I ordered nearly 2 weeks ago and I am still waiting on the initial drafts. I get promising emails and I am excited to see the drafts, but nothing to date.

I've sent about 5 PM's which have gone unanswered. I just want to get this project done or get refunded if it's not going to get done. I've seen Stealthpromo's work and I really want Adam to work on my projects. I've also promised him more projects upon completion.

But I just haven't seen anything yet. And at this point, I'm getting worried I've lost $.

Wow....based on reviews, I'm surprised. But I still want you to design my landing page.

I think that family emergency really affected Adam's normal turnaround for projects

This might be true. I know when my cat died I didn't feel like doing anything at all. He was like my best friend :(
