This guy is making me feel like a sucker.. maybe even a fat girl looking for a prom date?
I place my order..paid.. over a week goes by no word from him no answering emails etc.

I finally file a dispute with paypal. He responds saying:

" Mike, sorry! I didnt expect to e traveling but i've been on the road the past 3 days and havent had much of a connection. I'm at my hotel now and have internet. I am very sorry :("


I've attached the front design and will have the back shortly. If you still want to go thru with this I'll have em printed tonight.

This goes back and forth with him making revisions and me cancelling my paypal dispute at his request with a promise I would have the final cut and the tracking number by this evening. This evening comes and nothing.. now no answer to email. At this point I am all set and only want a REFUND ASAP! I am out $230.00 to this guy.

Mike, you want a refund because its been 3 hours since i told you to expect a tracking number from the printer...which i have not yet gotten. Like I've stated in emails i will forward the tracking as soon as I get it. Thanks.
 
I have received a notification from Paypal that in 3 to 5 days I will get a refund.
 
I got a few project done with stealthpromo this week actually hopefully BHW gets a chance to see the work grade A+ work as normal.
 
I don't understand why I am having such a problem with this guy... I paid for stuff on 7-14 and 7-17 and here it is 7-29 and I still dont have my stuff or my money.

Every time I have asked what's up I either get a story about travelling or being busy with work or a huffy attitude like it was me the guy who just wanted to buy something that is a jerk.
I will say that Adam does a great job at design but he new I was on a timeline and here we are 11 days later and I dont have my stuff and I dont have my money either.

I don't think it's a story bro...he was traveling i got the same story with my work it took maybe 2 days longer but it got done, just email the shit outta him like i do.

Its almost a month later now and I'm still trying to resolve my business card issues with him. Like GreenGoblin said, he does really good work but expect to have issues and expect it to take at LEAST 150-300% longer than anticipated.

I'm still trying to get him to reprint some cards he designed and took an extra two weeks to get here because I can barely read the font. But he wants me to send them back before he does a reprint. But sending them back means I'm another two weeks without ANY sort of cards and then business goes down. Hopefully we can work something out soon.
 
Where are you buddy? Need those revisions, they are a bit overdue. I will be on skype all day.
 
I agree his design work is top notch but I ordered flyers for an election that is Aug 31st. If I get them say... August 15th they wont do me as much good as if I had gotten them by the first which is why I ordered them about 2 weeks ago. Adam really left me high and dry and added insult to injury by refunding me my money via his checking account. At best I'll get my money when? Monday? Then I have to order from someone else and when do I get those?

Then he gets pissy with me for writing this.. HELLO.. I rather be out handing out flyers... Oh well I am still hoping I get my money and can just move on.
 
Hmm, seems like you are taking on too much work?

If not I would like some landing pages made.
 
has anybody heard from him in the last few days? my designs are a few days overdue..

Ok, got my work and loved it, worth the wait I also received a 25% which was an added bonus. I will defiantly get more work done soon.
 
I finally received my order today. What I got does not have all of the changes I made like catching the spelling errors and making overall changes to the design. I now have 5,000 flyers filled with spelling errors and the election is 8-31.


Then the business cards I got were supposed to look like the Irish flag. Instead of Orange its dead up RED. So now i'll be passing out the Italian Flag in a neighborhood known to be Irish? That really says SOUTHIE huh ?

If you are thinking of hiring Adam just flush $200.00 down the toilet and punch yourself in the face instead.

I really really want a refund. Maybe I can get them printed somewhere else fast?

My last pm with ADAM:
me: so you get that the printer sent me 5,000 of the draft with the spelling errors etc.?

"Adam paid us for an order and we printed the order. Im sorry but the rest you have to work out with him. He chared you higher than what I charge...maybe he can give you a discount on the order to reprint."

did u expect him to charge u the same amount he gets the service for?
 
No not at all.. Why are you even focusing on that ? Im not a commie. People should be paid for their work. However I strongly object to waiting three weeks for stuff I can't pass out and then watching as Adam tries to make it everyone else's fault but his.
 
sorry about your flyers. But maybe next time do them your self and you wont have to wait... IMO adam does some pretty cool shiat with artwork and you cant rush "genius" i use the term loosely but i would rather wait 2 weeks for some sweet artwork than someone do it in 2 days and have it be crap. adam dose awesome stuff and awesome stuff takes time. fast and great dont go together very well just my 2 cents but good luck with your elections
