1. As long as your country isn't restricted from using OpenAI (I don't know of any that are) and you have internet access, you should be able to use it.

2. There is no monthly payment involved. No hidden fees. You'd just need to have an OpenAI API Key, which you could get for free from their official website. BUT, you're a bit more limited in your usage of the API Key if you only continue to use the 100% free version. It's still good enough to use to create a lot of great content.

Yes, it works with Windows and has a GUI.
I'll be honest with you.. I have absolutely no idea about what a word phaser is. I may have to look that one up.
It doesn't correct spelling but I haven't seen any spelling errors. Proof-reading is always recommended for anything created with AI, regardless of the software you use. Nothing beats the human brain for that. However, I do have some things planned for the future to assist with this.
