Skills and Time Required:

Well, this all depends if you’re a writer yourself or if you manage your own team of writers to help you complete the projects. You can easily outsource tasks to writers you can hire from Upwork or Freelancer.com, for example.

Scaling Potential:

The potential is huge if you manage enough writers to handle all orders and requests.

I have been charging $20 per 500 words since 2016 so an increase in price would be highly recommended. Maybe $30 per 500 words would be the sweet spot at the moment – or even more depending on the quality you can offer.

You can also remarket to all existing contacts in the email and Skype account which I haven’t done for the last 3 years.

Reason for Selling:

I think putting 40k profit is misleading as you need to account for your time. Or in this case to replace you with an employee, how much someone would charge to write the same quality as you do? I guess maybe 30k (that’s a random guess, but not far from reality). Plus the time invested to find such an employee.

Given this profit yearly is 10k. All in all, the selling price is extremely high for such a thing.

You might as well get a job as a writer and you can make similar money (40k), if you write so high quality already. I think this is similar to a job rather than a business.

I would be interested but the value is the contacts you already have, and the selling thread with many reviews.

But a reasonable price is below 20k imo. So I guess you’ll never be willing to sell below this price.
