what are the limitations in the free trial? mentioned can not export, copy, and save. Can scraping results still be opened in software? If not, how can I see the quality of the scraped writing?

There is a random button on top. Click on that. It will open a random article from the scraped list. It just won't be the one you want to see but a random one from entire list. This way you can tell whether the quality is ok or not. Also remember that quality depends on the website scraped and software has nothing to do with that.

So if you want to, just head to wayback archive and check some random website and see if article quality is good or not. This tool is just a scraper but yeah you do get a lot of good articles which are usable.
