Recently got a spamhaus listing on one of my servers and the guys were pretty chill about it, I just removed the domain in question from pointing at it and everything was peachy again.

Spamhaus is a big pain in the ass, and I would like to explain in more detail our policy here. As an anonymous hosting, it regularly happens that a client, who orders low-grade services burns it with unsolicited irrelevant mail blasts or other illegal stuff despite our terms... that makes Spamhaus algorithms to escalate the process of listing of whole IP blocks, and it badly affects us & many our clients. Such cases force us to detect & terminate accounts with look-like-spam activity instantly. So don't get wrong here - just a reputable client will have an hour or two to explain if such activity was out of his/her control to survive.

Yes I forgot to specify. I wasn't running spam from your servers just one of my domains ended up in some spam emails and it was pointed at one of your vps so to clarify this was not a call for spammers to use this service but in case you're not a spammer but still run the risk of sometimes getting in spamhaus these guys are OK, they communicate and if your problem is solvable it will be solved.

Sorry for hijacking your question, but it's a very common question & I would like to leave a comment about it here...

VSYS.host ignores most of the DMCA claims, but you could get a contrastive experience regarding different DMCA claims. It depends on many factors like:
- the number of abuses the client receives
- who is a sender of abuses
- is it an automatically generated takedown notice
- is it bogus DMCA complain
- if there is any proof of concept
- is it filled according to the local law
- if the client is reputable & what are profits from the client
- etc

Basically, we do not ignore DMCA abuses we receive, we filter out absurd & illegitimate ones & work with the rest. Usually, it's just a very small percentage of abuses that need content removal. To be completely honest here we had cases where we refused to continue hosting clients, but with DMCA cases it was definitely an agreeably tolerant process.

So there are no risks here, just go grab your hosting configuration & try it by yourself. That's the only way to find out save harbor for your particular case.
