It depends on what kind of volume and content you want to run. When I first started, about a dozen accounts and proxies were what I needed. Now, you can make it work with 1 account and no proxy or you could go the other way and get hundreds of accounts with hundreds of proxies. Upvotes aren't everything when it comes to Reddit, in some cases they can even be detrimental.
