As for pages there is always all neccessary pages home, blog, contact, about, privacy which I could say makes a base for a website. And from a base site, I build additional pages which differs from niche to niche, but it's always something different.
And for content, I provide as much as needed that site doesn't look empty.

has some webmaster tools metrics of previous works to share?
 
Hi, if all backlinks pointing to homepage, then two. If there is more backlinks pointing to different pages, there is obviously more posts.
