This is NOT what I need right now. I've been permanently banned from my host provider (IXWebhosting) after continue to get CPU resource overload.

I have never done anything but just hosting WordPress sites on there and leave them alone, but it's continue to be a problem.

Apparently, IXWebhosting doesn't have that much strong of resources, and now I need a new webhost.

Any recommendation that has a strong CPU resource tolerance, and wont' have this problem?

I was thinking about between HostGator and BlueHost, but don't have experience with them, and need some expertise input asap. Thanks.

I had a similar issue with my website on Synwebhost but each time I emailed support, they "unsuspended" the site immediately. I was pretty consistently over their resource limit for shared hosting and many hosts won't even unsuspend a site that taxes their limits. I upgraded with Synwebhost, to a vps pro plan and am happy with the service, with no problems.

    *Sarcasm*

Also, I don't think there's any shared hosting provider that has "strong CPU tolerance". How many websites did you have on that shared hosting?

I have 13 sites hosted on there. Only 3 of the sites are doing ok, the others are not so much.

    Here were my CPU usage:
    2014-04-14 151.23
    2014-04-13 131.19
    2014-04-12 90.85
    2014-04-11 98.51
    2014-04-10 98.82
    2014-04-09 87.28
    2014-04-08 103.03
    2014-04-07 110.71

    What's the average should be?

There's your problem. I wouldn't host more than 3-5 websites on a single host, no matter how few traffic they have. Try to split them on different web hosts, or give up on the ones that are not profitable.

If you want to host a tonne of websites, then you should get a resellers account.

What's the problem with HostGator? I used to hear some many raving fans about HostGator, but now all of a sudden, I'm hearing the opposite. What happened?

I used host gator few years ago but it was too much money for me at the time. Haven't used them in awhile so not much I know about them.

They have changed. I had two dedi's over there and since the move to provo there has been nothing but problems. Customer service longer wait times, down times more frequent. I switched from there a few months ago and happy I did.

So who have you switched to now?

    What about BlueHost and HostMonster?

My guess is that there's something else going on and changing hosts won't fix the problem.

Identify what's causing the spike in usage, often bots and spammers are the problem and/or one or two pages on the site. Figure out the issues and fix it and you won't have a problem with any hosts.

Get your own cloud vps like Digitalocean and get somebody to set it up with Cpanel. At the end of the day you will need to spend money on hosting if you want your sites to be fast and for you to be in the clear.

How long do they set up the host for you ? I ordered one last week and they have not answered until now. It is monthly billing, do they scam first month billing and just send the details when the time almost over ? Really not pleased with them
