Permanent login issues for 'remember me'

hi all!

I'm now using this board nearly daily to read all this useful information but I'm having some strange problems. I can check the "Remember me" button as often as I want and I always have to login again when I open up BHW the other day. This problem exists for me since the middle auf January this year.

I'm using this forum on my laptop and home PC. On both computers firefox 3.6.3 is installed and cookies are enabled (of course!). laptop is windows 7 and home PC is ubuntu 9.04. when I delete all cookies and login again it works for a day only

I think that is really strange because other boards work very well. are there other peoples with this problem? Its very annoying for me since I'm using really strong passwords that I always have to copy from the password manager into the login forms.

i guess you have dynamic IP and when your ISP/you change your IP, you have to login again, that's how it goes here
it can be a problem if you have to do it in every 5 mins, but come on man, once a day only...

if you change useragents or unique class c's your remember me will be lost, its a security measure

Yeah i guess so thats creating a lot of troubles for people like me with dynamic ips..

I used to have a static ip and the same problem occurred to me, now that I have a dynamic ip, im always logged in even if if reset my router,...strange...
