Permanent Instagram action block?

My Instagram account is able to post pictures with no captions, and I can post to my story and even include hashtags in it. But I cannot like posts and I cannot follow people. I cannot promote a post -- when I try, it sends it in for review and then later the pending promotion disappears without feedback.

Whenever I attempt to like someone's post, follow someone, or try to edit a caption onto my post, it says "Try again later. We restrict certain actions to protect our community. Tell us if you think we made a mistake." I've tried the "tell us" button a number of times to no avail. Been like this for over a week.

I've tried reinstalling the app, using data instead of wifi, disconnecting and reconnecting Facebook, making new posts which got good engagement, nothing has set me free. This error seems different from the other action block errors I've read about online that tell you explicitly "Action Blocked" and give you a timeframe.

Is anyone familiar with this error? Did they kill my account?

You need to have patience,the block will automatically go away.

It's not permanent, this usually happens when you exceed the maximum number of actions per day.

Let it cool down and stop performing actions with the account for few days.

Like everyone said give it a couple days. I had that happen the other day while I was removing followers and unblocking.

Normally, it lasts for a week. If they see you've repeated the same, it extends to a month.

Dang yea mine has been like this for just over 2 weeks i thought i was done for. from what i was reading i thought it's supposed to give you an expiration date? perhaps not

My IG account has also been like this for like 3 weeks. Haven't used it for a month and then I logged back in everything was working fine.
I think you should give it some time.

I have an account suffering the same. Weird thing is though, it's a personal account. Never been used for botting, had any apps using the api or had any kind of bulk actions. It has been 5 weeks now... Will completely remove from phone and leave it for a month. See what happens.

Change your password and all will be fine again. It works for me 9 of 10 times.

I was blocked for over 2 months because I had a link in my bio. removed it and problem solved. may or may not work for others.
the link that was in my bio was used globally as it was related to the black lives matter movement so maybe IG thought my account was spam or bot

I have the same shit. I'm waiting for week and still can't like/comment. I used a like bot. When i did 100 likes a day nothing happens but i became greedy and run 200 likes a day and block came.

I think you can also try changing your password but use the Instagram web.
